He has yet to convince for me. He looks a level below what's required to challenge based on what I've seen of him so far. However he is still very young especially in terms of being a first choice goalkeeper. He should have plenty of improvement in him, especially as he becomes more accustomed to his teammates and the league. You could argue at the start of the year that this is the perfect time to blood him in to the team, as expectations were close to an all time low, given our negative net spend. Does this even stack up? We played Hull, probably the worst team in the league - who went down to 10 men early and United, who barely tried to score.  The other game was Swansea, who scored one and but for some poor finishing, could at the very least have had more chances on target.
