I don't know, he's an animal. He's great beyond the third round with enough electrolites in him. He hurts everybody that will stand and trade with him. But you never know he could have a bad day at the office.

Who?

Ngannou has never been past 2 rounds.

McGregor?

He is good on his feet has a history of fading in fights and Ferguson can keep up a pace through 5 amd will give him major issues on the ground.

Khabib is even worse. If he cannot clip him coming in and Khabib gets in range to get hold of him he is fucked as he isnt getting up. The Barboza fight should have been a massive test as he is probably the most explosive fighter in the division and he just mauled him

It was a bad joke about REM. Sorry.

I think he starches Ferguson... in maximum two rounds.

Yep. I think the Mayweather farce reduced his stock, somewhat. People forget how good he is at striking compared to the rest of MMA. His boxing skills are head and shoulders above anyone else in that division, not to mention his kicking, control of range and underrated bjj game. Tony is ace and could probably wrap him up on the ground but I don’t think he gets close enough to take him down. Needs to sort out his issues around gassing, because if it gets past a certain point you always fancy Ferguson to come on strong.

Tony-Khabib is interesting because some of Tony’s best work comes when he’s on his back. Tough fight though, time slows down when Khabib grabs you. He’s so calm and calculating when he has you in his pincers. And so fucking strong!

If stipe can take it to the 3rd, 4th, 5th rounds I fancy him to get it done. Ngannou is freakishly strong and has good technique so I can see him being a nightmare to take down and we all know what he can do with his fists, but he’s relatively untested. Fun fight

Channel 5 usually show Bellator no?

They are under Paramount now and not Spike so maybe that's changed things because theres no showings tonight despite Rory MacDonald v Douglas Lima and Sonnen v Rampage (Heavyweight super series, which is basically washed up heavyweights and a few light heavys stepping up! Good fun though).

Yeah I think the same, Tony is a very good jiu-jitsu blackbelt so it'll be interesting to see how he deals with Khabib, and vice versa.

Hopefully Mcgregor comes back and fights both at some point anyway I miss the whole circus around his fights.

McGregor will end up fighting GSP at 170.

Can’t see that ending well for him, but you never know. Nice payday.

Cormier vs Volkan tonight could be fun, too. The young lion, ko specialist vs the grizzled veteran with a point to prove. Fancy volkan to get wrestlefucked to death, but if he lands...

Yeah Cormier will just maul him for 5 rounds, unless as you say he can land a bomb on Cormier.

I thought Barboza was tailormade for Khabib if I'm honest, I thought the ufc fed Barboza to him because he's been getting a bit of stick over missing weight and shit so they wanted to build the Khabib v Ferguson/Mcgregor fight.

A fighter who's biggest strength is his kicking against a grappler. Was like watching the old ufc

There is a big difference with the level of experience Stipe has been in with compared to Ngannou but Stipe has had a couple of bad days at the office and has been hurt big time with hands before. Looking forward to that.

Wouldn't mind seeing Cormier move back up because he's had some decent scalps but he's said recently he won't be fighting at HW again.

Pretty sure he's retiring after a few more fights. LHW is a pretty weak division though, so there's not much to wait around for. Jon Jones may get a lenient ban but there's way he'd fight him again after all the shit thats gone on.

Yea he come into it pretty late on (Cormier) and is getting on just thought there's a bit of room at Hw. If Ngannou beats Stipe later then it will be Werdum next which will certainly test his ground game, if he can't clip him first that is. After that there aren't many names.

Yeah Light Heavy and Heavyweight are pretty weak divisions. Lightweight and Welterweight are where it's at.

It's a shame for DC because although He'll probably go into the hall of fame anyway He'll always have Jones name associated with him and there just isn't anyone who can deal with him at LHW. He's probably a true great.

Ngannou wants to move to tristar, native tongue and they might whip him into shape aswell as improving his all round game rather then rely on the snooze button.

Ngannou is at the UFC performance centre

He could not ask to be in a better place for his cardio and overall care. Yeah he could do with a better pro coach but he just gassed inside 2 rounds yesterday. Moving to tristar wont solve that

He was fucked after the first round, never mind the fact did nothing at all when took down on every occasion.

He's carrying muscle mass so I don't expect him to keep up with Dominic Cruz but he should have been training towards that type of fight. Expecting to blow everyone away with his hands is poor preparation.

The reason I say Tristar is because his accent is so thick he'd be better training around people who can speak his native tongue, plus it's one of the best gyms in the world.
