I'm only so much of a spelling pedant as I often make mistakes, it's more the inference that you should pronounce it that way, you got to pronounce it the first syllable the same as "War, Hur, yeah, what is it good for?" rather than rhyming with bum.

Wow this is an exciting post.

Made a load of macaroni cheese last night, always a belter.

Soften up some onions in a pan with butter and ground pepper with a teaspoon of mustard. Once softened after about 15 mins add some flour and milk. In the meantime cook some macaroni and fry some diced smoked bacon.  Slowly add some extra mature cheddar and grated parmesan to the milk and onion sauce mix and a bit of ground nutmeg. Once at the point of boiling lash it over the macaroni, stir in the bacon pieces and add to big oven dish thing,  Top with more cheese and breadcrumbs throw it in the oven for 20 minutes and bingo, comfort food par excellence.

Having the leftovers for lunch now, in fact.

For a lazy but hearty meal I like lobbing one of those trays of mediterranean veg from the supermarket into a roasting tray with some roughly chopped sweet potato, all covered in red pesto. 5 minutes before the end just add chunks of goat's cheese, or stick it under the grill with some thin slices of halloumi on top.

Also made a fucking delicious smoked mackerel chowder the other week with some wholegrain mustard in it for a little bit of heat.

A mate has a shop, it sells all kinds of stuff like from other countries, I must have a proper look at the spices etc.

He makes his own Billtong , he's a qualified Chef, and it's really good and I've got a bag full for the match tonight so I hope that's the only thing I'll be chewing on.
