Interesting this post very interesting, allow me to elaborate, You have said how you saw this in "ASDA" but for many years I have heard people refer to said supermarket as "The ASDA", why is this ??. Why is ADSA reffered to as "The ASDA" but Tescos is just "Tescos", very strange indeed.

The Asda? maybe they are on about a specific Asda, in a specifical area?.

Calling Asda 'The Asda' would be weird, it's like there's a don Asda who picks on all the other Asdas, or a King Asda, the Maestro Asda.

Im will think about this and I'll get back to you

Well I think so, Ive never been comfortable with this behaviour I must say, Often somebody in work will say "where are you going for dinner" and another will say "oh I need to pick up a few bit from "THE ASDA".

The Asda in Huyton is called The Asda. All other Asdas are just Asdas. No need to thank me for the insight.

I just noticed, you are complaining about people calling it "The ASDA" but you are equally retarded by calling Tesco Tescos.

There is no S at the end of Tesco.

Idiot boy.
