Want to make him the scapegoat for absolutely everything? Then don't take your frustration out on a forum - take it out on the man himself! Just buy and burn our new Dirk Kuyt effigy. For every order purchasing two or more we'll throw in a free can of petrol and some matches...

He works his bollocks off for the shirt, which clearly endears him to the fans, especially nowadays with so many lazy millionaire players about, but he is a woeful attacking winger and not good enough for the LFC starting 11.

 

Who do you think the Stoke defenders would have been more worried about....Kuyt or say El Zhar ?

 

I'd say they were delighted to see his name on the team sheet. We didn't draw the game because of Kuyt, but we are less of an attacking threat with him.

The loyalty shown to Kuyt on here is commendable, but the fact remains that is clearly a better player for us without the ball, than he is with the ball.......which again, is a sad indictment of Rafa's philosophy on how the game should be played.

I don't have a problem with Dirk , and think Rafa has a lot to do with him being singled out by fans , due to his number never coming up for substitution however he is playing.

 

I was amazed however by his arrogant outburst about how as a star at Liverpool he should be guaranteed a first team spot at Holland. It was massively un-Dirklike and I hope it doesn't precede him losing the manner that made us like him in the first place.

Yeah thats my only gripe really. I had no problem with him starting versus Stoke, I just thought Babel should of replaced him on the right wing some time in the second half when it became obvious we were having trouble breaking Stokes defence down.

first hold up your left thumb

second take hold of a lighter and try to light said left thumb

 

If you cant get your thumb to ignite then your not trying hard enough
