i don't know why anyone wouldn't think it would be hyped. it's a 4-3 game, with a last minute extra-time winner, with the 2 biggest names in english football, live on free to air national TV in the quarter final of the FA Cup. you can't have it that our matches with them are the biggest domestic game, then in such dramatic style ending and hope nobody will care. if the boot was on the other foot, we'd be bouncing everywhere.

Yea, totally agree with that.

If the shoe was on the other foot I'd have thought it was funny as fuck, but wouldn't be talking about it for years to come. Everything is relative though and they don't get out much these days.

Nobody hates the mancs more than me, city, Chelsea, Everton, pale in comparison. But I was more miffed that we let them off the hook than anything else, if 10 was distraught this was about a 3.

What makes you thing it’s a trade off? See that out today and they come into it with a massive inferiority complex. Now they’ll

be up for fucking us over

Today we were sloppy at times Anthony should never been allowed to score with 3 or4 players around him and how many warnings did we need about Rashford? Top that with failing to put the game to bed when we had the chances it was just a bad day at the office i dont think they played that well to be honest. It was obvious that going into extra time was going to be our downfall after playing on Thursday night we just run out of steam in the end. I'm pretty convinced it will be a different story in a few weeks time.

and there in one little picture you see the difference between blues and those despicable cunts.

Blues are our dads, our mams, our siblings, our husbands/wives, our kids, our best mates etc.

My dads a Blue, my mams a Red. They're both in their 90s and watch the derby games with another couple in their 90s who are Red and Blue. They despair at the way things have changed between the fans.

The rivalry has gone toxic over the last twenty years, but the Mancs (both to be honest) and Chelsea are on a different level with nearly every club like Luton, Newcastle or Villa ready to sing the ditties in the name of banter. My mate clocked a lad on the Kop doing the Munich years ago and nearly everyone applauded him. The stewards just looked away because 99% of people realise that's not "banter". The decent Mancs need to speak up.

Imagine that cunt is a policeman. What a fucking beaut. Words fail me.

In this day and age, especially after going through a massive pandemic in 100 years, I am absolutely astonished that some think its funny and banter to make fun of dead people. In an open football stadium.

I'd also hazard a guess that a good percentage of those chanting either had or knew people that where at the Manchester Arena for the Ariane Grande show 22May2017.

You know what, he may have been one of the worst there yesterday, but the thousands who sang their songs aren't much better.

I post on a Scottish Football forum & last night there was a thread about tragedy chanting & the first post was some cunt on about us singing Munich songs.

I put him right but that's the way these sorts of stories are perceived by the general public.

Fucking manc vermin.

Watching this again on catch up, why did we send 9 players up for a corner in the last minute when the scores were level and leave an inexperienced teenager as our only defender ? Just mad tactics.

It was utter madness. We clearly believed we would get a late winner, as we so often do.

It's good to have self-belief, but in that instance, it teetered over into delusion.

We did the same thing at Palace a few years back which arguably cost us the league that year. Seems like once again they got caught up in the emotion of it all when cool heads were needed.

The only team capable of taking us down is Liverpool.

Thats my worry at the business end. I don't think theres anyone bar Man City that is better than us and all the remaining games are very winnable. Its a question of application, attitude and professionalism.

It's been a huge change in just a very few years socially.

There are cameras everywhere now and everyone has a cell. Folks know full well if they say something racist, deplorable etc it will probably be be on tape if you are in a public space.

Our game management in every situation is pure Klopp.
