Everton were the last away team to win a penalty at Anfield, during their 2-0 win on February 20, 2021. The last away team to be awarded a penalty at Goodison Park were Arsenal on December 19, 2020.

 

The sheer hypocrisy of them! The thing is, they really should be called out on this kind of crap. BT Sport are quite happy to send Des Kelly to argue with Klopp over TV start-times, Sky let that little weasel bar Kenny from walking out when they were grilling him over Suarez. So they should get Lampard on camera, point out this hypocrisy and ask him to explain why he thinks clubs don't get penalties at Goodison.

It’s mad the way the make wall-pushing gestures and call us wall-pushers over Heysel. No Liverpool fans pushed any walls at Heysel, yet they’ve adopted this complete fabrication en-masse. It demonstrates both their lack of knowledge about what happened at Heysel and their lack of any interest in what happened beyond some sad attempt to use it as an insult.

Had a go at one lad I played footy with and asked him who pushed a wall. He was only around 25 but actually believed Liverpool deliberately toppled a wall onto Juventus fans trapped underneath. 

 

I bet he's never watched any footage of it or understand why things escalated the way they did.
