Down to Klopp this taking mo off and Sadio on the bench. Minamino was a headless chicken.

Sorry mate, disagree with the Klopp comment. We had the ball in the net three times and conceded one to a pen that wasn’t.

You know what I'm not even arsed anymore. The excitement of the game is gone and its properly turned me off. Even winnibg the league last season didn't feel as boss as it should have.

There's just no point celebrating anything in a game and its killed football.

Still don't see how that's a foul. Bare minimumal contact, one of the softest penalties I've ever seen. We are definitely being screwed over.

It's a fucking pen. Why can't you see this? If it was done against any of our players, you'd be screaming pen.

We’ve half arsed both games and got fucked in both of them.  We should have completely fucked that game off in midweek.  We play shit sometimes when Mane starts but we always play shit when he doesn’t.  He needs to play the league games.

Salah is a knobhead and needs dropping for reacting like that.  He thinks he’s bigger than the club and should be managed differently to everyone else.

Disappointing but that was a pen. We had a similar one given for a kick on Mo earlier in the season so we can’t complain.

The situation wasn't really similar, but yeah, if you kick someone on the foot in the box, you can't really complain.

Football's a fucking lottery now. You may as well just draw lots to see if the home or away side wins or it's a draw. No fucking way is that a pen but they've given it because the Brighton lad has gone down like a girl and squealled so loud. It's fucking funny Mo can be hauled down in the box, no pen. Fart on a united player and not only does fernandes break the 'feinting' rule, they get pens for nothing.

So we've been robbed of 4 points this season already in the everton game and this one. What is the fucking point anymore because Im fucked if I know.

They have literally killed football with VAR.

No way is that a penalty kick.....a ridiculous decision, a ref being sent to watch a slo mo replay should never in that situation overturn that decision....but it does because they stick together...his video room mates telling him to view it is literally same as saying give it.

Disgusting.

Never given as foul anywhere else on park that...never.

But sadly par for course in what football has become with its use of VAR.

They can shove this bollocks, right up their arses.

Taking Salah off really came back to bite us in the ass.

Fucking cheating cunts. Football is ruined, at least Webb had to try and hide it a little, but now they blatantly just don't give a fuck.

Its never a good idea to sub Salah off, we fall flat every time.

Don't fuckin understand football anymore.  This is just wank, game is killed.

It's easy to understand.

If there's a ball loose in the penalty box, the defender is supposed to stand back and say to the attacker "Oh no, no, Sir, I insist... after you."  Anything else is a penalty.

Of course it was a pen. If he'd gone down on the spot then it would have been awarded immediately. He missed the ball and kicked him. Mo would have gone down immediately and we'd have all screamed penalty.

Never a pen for me. It was nothing. The play had lost control of the ball, barely touched, carried on running. It’s bollocks.

Two players kick each other, not sure how that's a foul either way, but maybe I'm remembering the days when this was a contact sport.

And refs don't even get to answer critical questions. What fucking rule is that. They should be able to be held responsible. It's pure insanity and probably one of the reasons that the standard of referees is so damn poor or corrupt. It's absolute bullshit.

Friend just prison fucked us with those decisions from the VAR room.

Cooted we where. Cunts the lot of them.

Ultimately we allow the officials to fuck us over because we don't score enough goals to remove them from the equation.

Score another 4 there and that penalty wouldn't have been an issue as we would have won 2-1

    • There is a City fan on twitter who was really clued into the FFP stuff, he's a lawyer I believe and he's tweeting tonight that he's concerned they're in the shit with the PL. The investigation launched at the same time as UEFA just disappeared into thin air with no mention of it even after the CAS stuff. He reckons the court document below can only be about PL FFP. Bad timing for them seeing as 18 teams in the league hate them.    https://mobile.twitter.com/slbsn/status/1385246215886057475
    • Hope you're right fella! Not sure the other 14 PL clubs have got the memo though. Maybe UEFA and Mr Ceferin could pull some strings for us?
    • Jon Henry didn't direct any of his apology to any other club, the PL, UEFA, or FIFA.   He's not fretting.   And in my opinion, there is no chance in hell he's pulled us out without some sort of deal with them that benefits us somehow.
    • Bit of a fractured round of fixtures this week because of the FA Cup. There have been games every day since last Friday though so still plenty to get through.   Let’s kick off at the Pit last week where Spurs led once and trailed once in a game that turned out to be Mourinho’s last one in charge.   Kane scored twice while Spurs old boy Gylffi Sigurdsson did likewise for High Horse FC. Kane hit the bar with a brilliantly improvised header and then went off injured as his crisp bag ankles let him down again. He’s doubtful for the League Cup final this weekend now.   I don’t even know who they’re playing. I’m assuming it’s City but I’ve paid zero attention to it so genuinely don’t know. If they are playing City without Kane then they’ve got no chance.   Spurs sacked Mourinho the day after the Super League news broke. There were some rumours that he refused to take training in protest at it. Not sure if he was unhappy about the idea itself or the fact he was kept in the dark about it. Don’t really care. He was a genuinely awful fit for Spurs and they should never have appointed him. It was always going to end like this.   What happens next is going to be interesting. No top club is going to touch him and it remains to be seen if he can put his ego to one side and take charge of a smaller club with a lesser budget. I’d love to see him give it a go at somewhere like Newcastle or even a relegated club like West Brom or Sheffield United.   He doesn’t need the money but his reputation has been seriously eroded over the last decade. Taking over a lesser light and getting them promoted and then challenging for a European spot would be a great riposte to the accusations he only every takes the easy option.   I hope he does. There was a time when I despised him more than anyone else in football but over recent years I’ve warmed to him a bit. I’m not saying I like him, but I no longer hate him and I feel like he’s not the massive twat he once was. Much of it is an act. He’s playing a role, like last week with that “Ole is a terrible dad because he starves his kids” schtick. That was brilliant. I hope he's back soon but at somewhere that is actually going to be interesting.      This is just a teaser, click here to view the full article   Please note that PL Round Ups are only available to website subscribers. • Yep. As I said earlier, I think we've blown our chances of 4th with that late Leeds equaliser and Im normally pretty optomistic.
