New Assistant Manager

From that article:

"His disdain of the clichéd football manager, their media personas and clichéd responses will be a recurrent theme as we talk."

Something tells me he might not get on that well with our current manager ...

It might not be the worst thing that BRs number 2 doesn't like the media or feel there is a need to give them sound bites.

Looking at the guys career he had shit players playing good technical football, he got a bigger job and was fucked off after a bad start.Like other English managers he's been tainted and hasn't got a good club job since.

I like this appointment as he's one of those managers you'd look at in the lower leagues and think he would do well at a big club working with top quality players but they don't get the chance. Now he will get that chance to develop some top quality and if he could get league one players playing the technical game I'm optimistic.

Well, this proves he has FSGs full backing.

Im surprised, I thought they were going to cover themselves a bit and put someone in that wasnt 100% Rodgers choice but was vastly experienced- a flawed approach you might say, undermining the manager- but his position is surely up for debate depending on how we start the season.

Thats 3 people who have Bournemouth roots in Ings, Lallana and O'Driscoll- Im sure Sky will do a nice little montage for us.

The issue here will be O'Driscoll grasping just how big this club is- similar to Rodgers himself in a way.

He'll be used to scrimping and saving and essentially hoofing it long if theres 10mins left.

He'll be overwhelmed when he see the Liverpool logo emblazoned on the canteen napkins. He'll probably swipe a few boxes to take home.

It's Rodgers neck on the line so let it be his choice. Next season has to be rodgers make or break one. If it doesn't work out and the players still play like they haven't set foot in melwood for the last 12 months then this coach will be joining rodgers out on his arse. Hopefully a new perspective but similar ideology will wake rodgers the fuck up.

Utter farce. Typical Rodgers only willing to work with anyone who've won and achieved less than him.

This is Rodgers' last chance and rather than get the best staff around him he wants more lower league journeyman. Why not just keep the one we already had? We needed a coach who the players can look up to. Someone who has worked at the highest level rather than an ageing lower league coach.

Fuck off Rodgers and fuck off FSG. Turning us into Everton.

We might get away with a weak coaching staff if we didn't have a weak manager. There goes any hope of the Europa League.

The player respect thing is my concern. When he's dishing out the rollickings to international players. I doubt he's ever come across one.

Could get a bit

Only this Liverpool under this manager could sack a nobody and nothing coach in Colin Pascoe because the rookie manager needs more help and then replace him with someone with even LESS top level experience (i.e. zero) and whose last job was being sacked by Bristol City.

Fuck right off.

Maybe we did search far and wide for a new AM but no fucker wanted to work with a dead man walking who will be out of a job in 3-4 months. Unless you're a journeyman coach who could not believe his luck. Fuck off FSG and fuck off Rodgers. Inept cunts.

Yeah just like we searched far and wide for a CEO and ended up with Ian Ayre. Did anyone really think we'd end up with proper staff under these fucking jokers? And as if Klopp would work for these losers.

the owners are an absolute joke and so is their dossier'd up manager with another yes man to assist who'll do what he's told because he can't believe his luck. It works the same way right through the chain of command at Liverpool.
