He's a fucking long way from what we should be expecting from a Liverpool midfielder. Can you imagine him getting a game when we had Alonso, Gerrard, Masch and Momo? Not in a million years. Shite.

You often here the German managers talk about mentality. This lad has it in spades. When he gets the ball he isn't shitting, he is looking to make something happen in the game(even if he is playing poorly).

Absolute kick in the balls for us having him out let alone having Henderson out also. Fuck Fuck and Fuck again. Should we get to the final,it'll be Lucas and Allen. We'll have to wrap them up in cotton wool. Stewart and branagan will be getting plenty of games in the league for rest of season

Was thinking we are down to the bare bones and asking a bit much of them two to put the required legwork in.

Lucas and Allen both more than capable of doing a job, despite the silliness on here where people rubbish one or the other as part of a wrongheaded agenda.

 

I agree that we should be protecting them, so Stewart should have a real chance to make an impression in the remaining league games. I like the look of him, seems a combative sort which will be important for the derby.

This is a real shame. Outside chance of the final, if we make it, but that's a big ask to come right back in for. OK, so who do we have?

 

Lucas and Allen? That's not a bad pairing to have left. Stewart should also see some more action.
