We don't know how much the 6+ has yet. Early tests on the smaller say 1gb, but I guess we will have to wait and see. Performance is the important thing.

 

quadcore processor @ 2.5 GHz

Whilst there isn't a release version yet, the smaller version single core absolutely hammered the snapdragon 801. That's without it being released or optimised.

Very marginally, but with a processor that drains much less power.

Whilst it will have a high MP count, I'd bet my left nut that the iPhone's current generation is a significantly better camera, much less the new one.

 

Still, it's a fucking ridiculous price and I won't be paying it. If I had the choice between the two devices, I know which I'd take. The one which isn't only going to be faster, longer lasting, but the one which is properly premium. The iPhone 6 plus.

 

Both great devices, one is a bargain at £229 quid, the other is way overpriced at £619.

Nah it is about the same. The specs I saw said the same resolution for both iphone 6 and 6 plus and was less.

 

Battery drain is no problem by the way. I get about 1 and a half days at the moment but it was over 2 days before the last update. They are fixing that this week though.

The contrast specs look very good on the iPhone, and the viewing angle, etc. They make really good displays (or their partners do - pedantry watch 101). I don't think you're right about the far superior specs thing though, mate (might have been just an off the cuff comment, not literal). Price of it though? Fuck that. I bet that'll be over £40 quid on contract.

I got mine from a poster on sixcrazyminutes. Demand is outstripping supply which is why they went for the strange invite only system. Better than just putting the price up I guess and it seems to have got a fair bit of free publicity for them. I have not been given any yet but it looks like they will be unnecessary as it should be available to preorder next month without an invite. 

 

Boss phone, great build quality. If it is not premium enough you can always get one of the new backs made out of bamboo or kevlar.
