The posts on here prove my point! You'd be hard pressed to find a woman of any shape, colour or tit size that every bloke on here agreed was perfect, and by hard pressed I mean you'd find it impossible. There is no "perfect" woman. What most blokes agree on is that skinny is just as unattractive as fat, so surprise surprise, most of us would happily stick our dicks into just about anything in between. The posts on this forum bear out the fact that pretty much whatever you look like, as long as you're happy to whip out your norks, we're happy to gawp at them.

Tuebrook, I'm sorry but being anti censorship doesn't include being against banning child pornography or snuff, that's a case of 2 + 2 = 5 in your mind. Anti censorship in my view is trying to stop this moral crusade to protect people, that don't need your protection. In the case of a page 3 model, it's 100% consensual, their being paid handsomely and it's ultimately their choice, your trying to take that choice away from them and it's not your right to do so.

Not sure what continental european papers are like, but the whole idea of page 3 seems to be a very british thing. They certainly don't have it down here.

 

This will all likely become a moot point anyway, as more and more people move away from the printed word to getting their news online. Get rid of the tits by all means, as its all seems a bit old fashioned anyway, but I would imagine they wil be followed not long after by newspapers full stop.

 

I don't bother with the lads mags either, but thats because they're largely shite. I like a bit of filth, but its all available online for free. Been a long time since I spent any of my hard earned on porn.

There may well be male strippers, and there also may well be lots of women who self-regulate themselves to conform to certain ideals, but to pretend that page 3 isn't just one part of a bigger picture that polutes the way women are viewed just a bit off, in my opinion.

 

From looks stopping you getting a job, to being genuinely scared on the streets at night, to, no matter what field you're in, your progress in the quest for a man and children being hugely important, and even down to not having control over your own body - it all filters into some deeply harmful views about women still being objects, and inherently unequal.

 

There's a lot of things that aren't helpful to women getting a fair crack of the whip. Page 3 may only be a very small drip into a very large swimming pool but it's fucking off would almost certainly be a positive thing.
