With Henchoz fit again, you just know what's going to happen. He'll have Igor in central midfield on Sunday.

I've heard a few times lately that we have not come back from a half-time deficit to win a league game since May 1999. If that's true then the game was Tottenham at home when we came from 0-2 to win 3-2. This surely questions the tactical knowledge and motivational skills of the current set up doesn't it? If your losing at half-time then the team needs a shake up to turn it around. A bollocking of the players, a change in system or personnel is required. The fact that this turn around has not occurred in four and a half seasons is amazing.

To give you an idea as to what Houllier is up against........

.......on TalkS*ite just now, Ray Houghton, who has taken the TalkShite shilling, suggested that Wolves would have beaten Liverpool 'based on Liverpool's last three results' This is the same Wolves team currently being battered by Arsenal, and who have lost their previous three games 2-3, 2-5 and 1-5. Hmmmm...makes sense that Ray, same as it does you working for Radio S*n, and taking on board their anti Houllier stance.....after all Ray....your management career was er........yeh. On the same station earlier, another Southern beaut e-mailed to say Liverpool should sack both Thomo and Ged, 'and bring back God from Man City'. Yeh....right. Off to Anfield, to support Liverpo…

There is a new collection of T-shirts available at the Hillsborough Justice Campaign Shop. Each of the four t-shirts are sand in colour with an image of a legend on them, similar to the Kenny Dalglish ones earlier in the year, priced £12.00. The players included are Elisha Scott, Billy Liddel, Alan & Ray Kennedy. Each of these t-shirts are marked with a distintive HJC emblem and flame, and each does look stunning. The Alan Kennedy one in particular is a joy, with Barney pictured kissing the European Cup in Paris. At the moment they are very limited although we are hoping to have more available in the near future. All the money raised from the sale of the …

Does anybody really buy Houllier's explanation that he was shattered following the Bolton game? He was taken off after just over an hour, he is 19 and as fit as he'll ever be. Surely its the likes of Smicer who should be having difficulty. Call me a cynic, but I'm getting a bit pissed off with all this shite about players being tired etc. Methinks the real game plan at City was to defend deep and hoof the ball forward to our record signing.

Picked up a copy of this that had been left in the pub before the Bolton game, was dismayed to see the picture of Fowler showing 4 fingers to the Stretford End and the Comment "At least he seems to care NOW!" What f#ckin muppets wrote that? The lad is a f#ckin legend, even if things didn't go right for him and us towards the end. That comment is a disgrace! :telloff: Well done yesterday Robbie!

Just wonderin how it went really? Was relying on text alerts, don't get Radio City when I'm home for Crimbo! Thought we'd pulled off a real gutsy win after coming back from 1-0 down but wasn't all that surprised that god fowler equalised. Not the worst result all in all, but hardly the best either. Haven't even heard a match report yet, but teletext ratings didn't give any red above 6, lots of 5's and believe it or not U know Who got MOTM! Heard Hamann's goal was a screamer, just hope the premiership boys can bring themselves to show it! God I hate that show. All the best lads. JFT96

Had a good time on Boxing day. Good team performance. Lessons seemed to be learned both by the team who worked hard and by the boss - No Heskey. Result: 3-0 Changes were made. Had no problem with the Kewell withdrawal given it was his first game back but did we really have to have Heskey on the park. It sent entirely the wrong message. And what did he do. I'll tell you - fuck all. Sorry no. He fell into the hordings. After changes we lost purpose and it was obvious Bolton would score and they did. Heskey played so well in Inspector Clueless's eyes he made his way back into the starting 11 for the game against city. That told me that GH felt he could do his own thing …

Just been reading the match reports from yeserday in the paper and saw this on the Tottenham v Charlton match: Pleat said "We can see the red lights flashing and see the danger. All the clubs are nervous as you are entitled to be when you are in the danger zone in the Premier League." An unfortunate turn of phrase from the one time kerb crawler.:D

Anyone else think he was hard done by? Houllier says on the official site he was not contributing enough offensively. He did misplace some passes, but the whole team failed to function in the first half. To move Igor to right back and exect him to play as a marauding right winger was near comical. Igor did actually do more than I expected going forward but defensively he was still suspect, and kept drifting into the middle allowing their left sided players more space. Still, Igor cost £5.5 million, Semmy cost nothing, so it was obvious who'd be the fall guy. This isnt meant to be another bash at Houllier but to substitute someone after 25 minutes is v…

Submissions please... I'll start the ball rolling with this little gem from last week. "But when you miss star players you feel the effects. Look at Everton for example. Wayne Rooney hasn't been in top form this season, then suddenly last weekend he scores a good goal and it could turn their season around. When you have your star players in the team and playing well then it makes a difference. "How would Southampton have coped last week without Beattie and Ormerod? We're without half a team at the moment and that needs to be emphasised."

A couple of weeks ago I started a thread on here about Celebrity Reds. Pretty popular I think. I credited ToffeeWeb with giving me the idea. The Offal have credited nobody. They must have thought of it themselves. http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/drilldown/N142714031225-0036.htm

As the GH debate rages on, look at all of Geds castoffs who scored- Babbel had (2)!!!!, Robbie, Paddy Berger (2!!!!!) and even McAteer scored for Sunderland. So, we really should have beaten Bolton 9-1 if we'd kept them:D :D :D

Going on Friday with the new Missus (as shown of left), she is Bolton fan. Should I be the dutiful husband and not give my usual amount of abuse, or say fuck it and just go for it????:dunno:

Really pleased about the result. Couldn't get to the game but sounds like we did well. Good to see Kewell back and to see FSP get a start and a goal. It was refreshing to see FSP showing some spirit. Saw one move on telly where he was knocked down during the build up of a move and he was the one busting a gut to get into the penalty area to get on the end of the it. Nice to see us getting good delivery in the final third and scoring from crosses/setpieces. Some good may have come from our injuries. Semmy has got another game under his belt(did he have a good game?) as has FSP. I honestly think that GH had had enough of H***** but played him because of the injuries. N…

Whilst reading another thread, I saw about the sixth different figure for how much money Houllier has spent on players. As the pressure on him builds, so this stick to beat him with seems to grow in size, with the latest figure being Rashid's £120m. Can anyone clear this up? How much has he really spent, both gross and net? £120m seems way over the top for either calculation, but I don't know for sure.

Cant wait till the footie goes back to BBC. Fuckin shite on ITV The majority of our feature focused on Sam Alladyce and his reaction to each and every decision. Then we got to see the Bolton substitutions in full. When it went back to the studio and Robbie Earle was talkin about Pongolle he then showed two clips of him going through that werent even featured in the highlights. Fuckin Shite. Has anyone also noticed that Arsenal are unbeaten until Xmas. Didnt realise this till it got mentioned last night. If it was the Mancs or Chelsea you'd never here the end of it. Anyone else think the coverage is more bias than usual this season or is it jus…

"A lot of people just assume we have a god given right to win things." We don't have a god given right to win anything, judging by most of the LFC sites that I have read recently, I really wonder if some of the people who either go to the matches or who are internet supporters understand the meaning of being a Liverpool supporter. Maybe it's me, maybe I'm wrong? The way I was taught to support the team was through thick and thin, for better or for worse and WE certainly DON'T call for our Managers head. We are NOT Evertonians, we are NOT Man City supporters, we are NOT Tottenham Hotspur supporters, we are LIVERPUDLIANS! This is probably one of the wors…

Why is Uncle Bobby not getting loads of stick like Ged. I am not apologising for Ged but Newcastle have 1 point more than us having played 1 more game? Arse are still unbeaten. Is it me or have we not heard much about this?

Another injury blow for the team and Chris himself. I'm beginning to wonder if this lad is injury prone. I've advocated the sale of Dudek on here but maybe we should hang on for a couple of years until we see how often Kirkland's injuries are.

from .tv, El Hadji Diouf today insisted he isn't worried by his disappointing goalscoring form this season. Diouf hasn't managed a single goal for the Reds so far this campaign, but he says he's more interested in making a contribution to the team than in any personal glory. Diouf told LFC Magazine: "I want to score. But for the moment I have been making some goals and causing some problems to other teams. "To be honest I'm not worring about scoring goals. The most important thing for me is the team wins and that I can make a contribution on the field. "Don't forget that I'm not being used as a striker anymore. Before I used to score more goals. Wh…
