It's literally one of the rare Xabi threads where I'm not dissing him?  I'm actually respectful to the money grabbing, gas lighting wanker, and say he should rejoin us?  A 13 year old neg?  I was only a young 37 year old at the time, I can't be held responsible for my opinions?

Hardly surprising. One way or another, it’s unlikely he’ll still be with Leverkusen by the time Jurgen leaves, and he won’t be taking a role in Scotland or Saudi Arabia.

We buy Diaby next summer, Alonso spends another 2 seasons at Leverkusen toppling Bayern,  then he fancies a return to the PL in 2026 and brings Wirtz, Hincapie and Boniface with him having developed them for a couple more years.*

Nobody seems to last more than about 2-3 years at Real Madrid so could work out handily if he goes there next summer.

Probably getting ahead of ourselves, but you just know he’s going to be an elite manager. The signs are already there. Hopefully we’ll see him back here again post-Jurgen.
