Why didn't Finn get a game? Seems perfectly set up for him.

That's England for you I'm afraid they tend not to do the obvious and I know you can't argue with what's gone on but you pick your best bowlers for the conditions...and that pitch was perfect for Finn...

Need to bat all day tomorrow and try and get a lead of 200+. Great work by the bowlers this morning, some of the stuff Anderson and Broad was throwing down was borderline impossible to play at.

We are fighting the weather as well though, the forecast isn't good. But by making such a huge dent in India today we might have gained a chance.

With the weather forecast it would be better to get a 150 run lead by tea, then start bowling.  Get a session in to get some wickets, then hope for a bit of cloud cover the next morning to polish them off.

If there's 100 or so for England to get in the second innings would only need to squeeze in 20 overs over the final two days at some point.

Ugh. Play abandoned for the day, doesn't bode well for a result assuming it teems down on Sunday and/or Monday too.

Have they never considered erecting an invisible waterproof force field over cricket grounds for just these situations? Come on ECB, get with the times.

Remember the time they played under a roof in a T20 game a while back, I think one of Chris Gayle or Afridi hit it? Is it a dead ball or classed as a 6 in that instance? At least we'd get away with playing Mitchell Johnson by top edging it onto the roof.

Also, Geoffrey Boycott has got Twitter:

Should make very interesting reading when we've got 1 slip in place to a tail-ender.

Sort of like that show Under the Dome?....

Well we blocked for the first hour. Rather than having a massive swing and then declaring. We've picked up a bit with the new ball, but we've still only scored 50 in an hour and a half.

Got Boycott on the radio saying he hopes we get bowled out, and I fully agree. We won't make a positive decision so hopefully it'll get taken out of our hands. Unfortunately India aren't looking very threatening, and are probably fairly happy with the fact we're still batting.
