Winning.

Former President Donald Trump should pay $83.3 million to writer E. Jean Carroll for public statements he made in 2019 disparaging Carroll and denying her rape allegations, a Manhattan federal jury determined Friday.

The total is more than eight times what Carroll asked for in her initial lawsuit.

A new appeal, and half an hour's donations from US Brexiteer-equivalents should cover that quite easily.

Habba habba.

It's over man.

“The ‘Alina Habba was a deep state plant to destroy Donald Trump’ theory has entered the building,” historian and right-wing extremism expert Mark Pitcavage wrote.

Pitcavage shared with his X followers a tweet from UltraMAGAGirl arguing Habba’s shaky defense in E. Jean Carroll’s New York City defamation trial was purposefully incompetent.

The MAGA fan’s comment arrived on the heels of Trump’s announcement that he was seeking new attorneys to pursue an appeal in the case.

It also comes as Habba faces a threat of sanctions from Carroll's lawyer, over a letter in which Habba confusingly bolded the statute that appears to disprove her own alleged ethics violation.

Presumably shit lawyers like her are all that will work for him these days. It's not as if they're guaranteed to get paid or anything.

Think it is down to which part they play.

Kise is a serious lawyer and apparently was paid in full upfront to take the case.

The role of heel with knockers does not command the same rate.

I've never been that convinced he'd win but if Biden is gonna start wading into more and more conflicts abroad that could and probably will be a gift for someone who sells simple solutions to the feeble minded.

Expect isolationism 2.0 to be on the agenda from now on.

Was his meal ticket the first time around.

If he gets in at least we won't have to worry about fucking NATO anymore.

Having gone down a bit of a Shane Gillis YouTube rabbit hole, I've just rewatched Trump's announcement of the killing of al-Baghdadi. It's still funny. The comic timing of calling the terrorists "losers" at a sombre moment.

He can ask for a full hearing from that court today. There's 11 justices on it and only 3 ruled, which is normal. If they tell him to fuck off, he'll then appeal to the supreme Court. They could take it, or not as only 4 justices on that court need to vote as to if they hear it.

All part of the orange cunts plan to delay delay delay and hopefully get back in the white house and make all the indictments go away.

Judge Lewis Kaplan entered the judgment on Thursday, February 8, which gives Trump 30 days to post a bond pending post-trial motions to have the award lowered.

Kaplan's order is "for compensatory damages ( other than for the reputation repair program) in the amount of $7,300,000.00; Plaintiff E. Jean Carroll has judgment for compensatory damages (for the reputation repair program only) in the amount of $11,000,000.00; and Plaintiff E. Jean Carroll has judgment for punitive damages in the amount of $65,000,000.00, each as against the defendant Donald J. Trump for an aggregate sum of $83,300,000.00."

Trump could pay the full $83.3 million to the court, which would hold it in reserve while Trump asks Kaplan to lower the amount he must pay Carroll.

Alternatively, Trump could secure a bond and only have to post a small percentage of the award upfront.
