Had a look at the scores before hopping in a shower to see them 1-0 up and figured ey it was about time they got a win, check again now and they are 2-1 down to a Pickford own goal, brilliant stuff.

Also saw someone on the BBC commentary asking what Potter was doing..... If they don't have enough patience for Dyche they definitely wont for Potter.

From Dyche ball to Potters tippy tappy stuff with this lot? I’m in.

They aren’t paying anything for that Beto until next year’s accounts if this fella off The Peoples Forum is accurate. I’m sure their relegation rivals would be interested to know about that.

They'll still need to amortise him for ffp purposes. All that hints at is Everton have cashflow problems. Which it's hard to believe there'll be a cure to by 2024.

I don’t think that save was all that, it was good not great, he nearly put it in his own net again . Imo a great keeper puts that over or parries it away and the second one was just at his face. Won’t stop all the wanking over him though even though they would have won if he wasn’t trying to be cocky with a Hollywood dive and scored an OG.

I hate to say it but that Beto is a decent signing for them. Works hard, has a bit of pace and physicality and will help them - probably add enough to see them out of bother.

Agreed, too good for Everton. Looking at the other promoted teams it looks like another great escape is on the cards simply because are three even more woeful teams in the league. Promoted teams this season are particularly weak. Let's hope for that long awaited points deduction, it wouldn't even need to be a significant deduction to send them down.

If it ever happens the anger and conspiracy theories would be epic. We'd surely be central to the conspiracy?
