What's the worst World Cup foul you can remember? I remember some of these as if they were yesterday. And I wonder if we will have any more incidents at this year's World Cup.

I think the Cameroon one on canigia is the most outrageous and it makes me laugh the most, he literally hurdles one guy then gets lucky the second one misses him but then the the third fella just clatters him. Didnt have a chance! hahaha!!!

Can't really be the Battison one as it wasn't even given as a foul. Still terrible though but i'd go with the Cannigia one as the worst foul.

Hands down when I saw this thread I thought when Owen got "tackled" in 2002 World Cup.......only joking Battiston, how Schumacher wasnt charged with assualt is beyond me, he nearly broke the lads neck.

 

Ironically 4 years laster in Mexico I think Stoprya of France was manhandled by the Brazillian keeper in the quarter finals when he was clear through and the keeper wasnt even booked. Justice was done in the penalty shoot out though.
