Police are investigating claims an Everton player assaulted a woman in a London nightclub.

Marouane Fellaini, a Belgian international, has been accused of attacking the woman in Jet Black in the the West End on Sunday.

The 22-year-old midfielder has not been arrested but Scotland Yard has confirmed the allegations are being investigated.

The alleged victim complained of a head injury, police said.

A spokesman for Everton said they were aware of the incident but would not comment further because of police involvement.

Mr Fellaini is recovering from a serious ankle injury he suffered in February which ruled him out of the rest of the season.

The woman suffered no visible injuries but she was taken to hospital as a precaution, police said.

Horrible cunt.

Yea, lets judge him before anyone knows the full facts.

The words "claims, accused, allegations, not been arrested, no visible injuries" do not a horrible cunt make, for me.

He was probably sat down and whilst turning around his hair probably hit her in the face.

All well and good, but the most important words are 'Everton' and 'Player'

Even if he is innocent in this particular incident, he's still a horrible cunt.

I heard the girl was bladdered and looking for the karaoke stand, she tapped him on the head and asked "is this thing on like?", then proceeded to scream "I will always love you" into his ear for about 30 seconds before he naturally had a strong word.

He isn't a nasty fella, he is just struggling to adapt to the pace of the English dancefloors

BRAVO!

I was thinking she made a 2 footed lunge and he bravely defended himself by jumping on her ankle.

Anyways, let's not actually judge the lad before we know. I hate roy keane but i always though that incident with him was a set up.
