Obviously no egg or mushrooms as I can’t stand them but apart from wanting those I can’t see how anyone could criticise it.

Replace the Hash Browns with two fried eggs and the toast with more fried bread and I'd be in heaven. Looks good as it is though, as I get you hate eggs.

No bacon, no sausage, no black pudding, no beans and no hash browns. Your fry ups sounds lovely, rem.

You seemed to think so:

Very good effort. No beans, no bacon make it hard to rate it too highly but generally very tidy.

It was a good effort, though. Considering no beans, no sausage, no bacon, no black pudding, no hash browns, you put out a tidy effort. Not lovely and not a fry up, though. I wouldn’t eat it because it’s not a fry up and most of it is inedible and shouldn’t be on a breakfast. Good effort though.

Has to be white for me. Never seen that Jackson thing though, must only be in certain parts of the country.

You can get it all over the country. The Asda,  Morrisons and Nisa sell it. In my opinion, its better than Warburtons. Obviously, it’s not as nice as freshly baked bread.

Jackson's Bakery is in Hull, I used to go past it on my way to college every day, incredible smells. I had an insatiable desire for toast from the college canteen every morning, for some reason.

We moved into a rented house near there. The first morning, my missus came back after picking up a paper and started waxing lyrical about what a wonderful homely neighbourhood it was and how brilliant it was that everyone seemed to be baking bread. It felt almost cruel to tell her it was actually a great big factory mass producing loaves.
