Definitely. To be fair, he played quite well when he came on. The goal meant a lot to him too.

Can't help laughing when his first contribution after getting on was to get booked. But credit to him he kept going and scored that goal. Watching from TV I couldn't tell it was him but didn't mistake him for Spearing either.

Yeah I was glad he scored, it will do his confidence some good and hopefully add to his value when we sell him in the summer. It's all about aurelio and insua at LB next season hopefully.

It was clearly Dossena as Spearing's about half his height! I thought he looked quite lean last night.

I said it earlier in the year but I think that Dossena could be utilised as a winger to decent effect... (especially since he can't defend).

Weirdly, the bit that impressed me the most was when he had the ball on the left wing and Babel was up front. Babel ran far side of the defence, but really really close to Heinze(?) and basically put himself in a position where Doss had fuck all chance of getting a cross to him, but he still tried it and it was only a stretch from the last man which stopped Babel having a simple tap in. It was a brilliant cross though considering how shite Babel's positioning was. If Babel had gone near post it was a goal for sure.

I definitely still have hope that he can turn his LFC career around. It could be argued that he has shown more than Babel this season, and certainly in the last few months.

I was made up for him when he scored. You can say a lot about his qualities, but he's an honest player who never moans or strolls around. I for one was not dissapointed when he scored.
