  1. His response to this *implies* that he said something along those lines - Terry denies racist slur | QPR News, Fixtures, Results, Transfers | Sky Sports Obviously zero proof of anything so it should just be dropped.
  2. I have worked in the private intel space in the past and the degree to which I've seen private companies entangle themselves in government affairs, not just in the USA but across the globe is quite alarming.
  3. I worked in the Middle East in Nov/Dec and the price of petrol there was about 17p a litre. Cheaper than bottled water.
  4. Yeah, I could've voted in Bootle 0.003, kinda pointless, or in Bristol West, 0.8, not so pointless. Needs changing.
  5. Voted Labour. Hovered for quite a while above the Lib Dem candidates box but bailed in the end.
  6. I'm not sure what 's depressed me more about this crisis, those two leeches owning our club or the unveiling of half our fans as spoiled bitter gobshites. Fuck off and support the Bluenoses where you'll fit right in.
  7. Explicity ignoring the minus cunts bit, and just because it's more fun: Buffon Evra Pique Puyol Maicon Iniesta Essien Xavi Rooney Villa Messi Subs: Reina, Lucio, Alves, Mascherano, Fabregas, Higuain, Torres Balance between defence and attack, could keep possession, play on the counter, and would play as a team.
  8. I went to see it with about 7 other people and I think I was the only one who came out and said "that was good". Quite a clever film, nothing too absurd in it.
  9. Slow down. I didn't give my opinion on the Johnson signing - I just made a point that 75% of people don't seem to consider. Yes it does work both ways, agreed, but again you're getting ahead of yourself. I wasn't just applying that argument to (and I hate this phrase, symbolic of just how deep in the shit we are) "anti-Rafa" posts, but to everything.
  10. Why is it that half the posters on here seem incapable of factoring any more than a couple of points into their arguments? It's either "Rafa's spent loads", "Rafa bought Johnson when we needed a striker" etc; it's more complicated than that! For instance, Portsmouth owed us money - does that change your opinion in any way, even in the slightest? No-one seems capable of actually formulating a rational coherent argument about anything. It's like the opinion is made and the rationale is tossed in as a token afterthought. Depressing really, that these are the people who are judging the men who actually put some thought into their decisions.
  11. I like this triangle of derision. TLW deride RAWK for being too pro-Rafa Rattle derides TLW for being too anti-Rafa Rattle derides RAWK for being RAWK In conclusion, Anyone joining me in the "objective and not fickle" corner is correct.
  12. Babel clearly was told to NOT close Everton down too much but to sit in front of their midfield, forcing them to hoof it long. Which they did, and genius Moyes decided to bring on another big lump up front hahahaha. As much as I dislike him and want him out, he did what he was told to do today.
  13. Sami's distribution was pretty good for a centre back. And can we please stop calling him "The Greek" and start calling him Kyrgiakos?
  14. No - the point I was making is that the biggest problem at the club is not Rafa, Lucas, Dirk or Babel; it's the owners. Replacing Rafa will achieve nothing whilst those two are still leeching money from the club. Losing Rafa will be what starts the downward slide however. We're not going to attract any big name managers to replace him, and you can forget about this siphoning of talent from Spain that we've been doing. That'll stop as well. They're the problem, they're the ones dragging us down and they're the ones who need to fuck off.
  15. Exactly. Get ready boys, after he's gone years like we've had from 2005-2009 will never happen again. All it will achieve is to accelerate the downward spiral Leeds-style on the pitch, and the downward spiral of the nature of our support Newcastle-style.
  16. Nah it's defo true. Gerrard wanted Phil Collins on in the dressing room and Pellegrino said no. Wham bam thankyou maam.
  17. Hah that was ace, subtlety taking the piss out of the journos. Nice one Rafa.
  18. What's so depressing is that there's nowhere to go from here. We either continue as we are and have a slow painful slide down the league or hope to get taken over by a sugar-daddy. Right now I'm almost preferring the first option, endure a few seasons of torment, drop down a league with a points penalty and start afresh. Lose the owners, big opportunity to get the fan ownership of the club German-style and half of our fickle fucking fanbase will fuck off for good. Club back as it was and first in line to climb the table when the TV bubble bursts and the rest of the league are fucked.
  19. Totally agreed. You know that last night at the very least Rafa would be there lying wide-awake thinking about how to fix this, whereas three quarters of our playing squad don't seem to give a shit right now. You could tell how distraught he was with that 'performance' in his post-match interview; looked like a ruined man. It's only the cult of celebrity that's protecting them at the moment. The spineless fuckers should be offering refunds for those tickets bought for last night.
  20. This malaise runs far deeper than Rafa. He needs to go into the dressing room tonight and tear 90% of our squad a new one. Manager or not, our players are strolling about and there is zero commitment. Decision making is atrocious and there are so many lapses in concentration. We should be giving them as much grief as we are giving Rafa.
  21. This isn't really to do with cold but there was a random thunderstorm last night in Crosby, got up this morning and it's still going on. Wtf! And slush on the roads too, its the devil's substance that.
