I don't think the cheer when Sterling was on was due to we hoped he could salvage anything, but more or less due to the fact we finally got to see him in the first team. I think the whole stadium knew we wouldn't get anything from this game....

You speak my mind about Pepe, Dave. When was the last time he made any save of notes? A save that saves us points. I think maybe the Arsenal game when an arsenal player was 1-1 with him (don't remember who that was, though.) But the point is, anything that's on target ends up in the back of our net. As a reds fan in Thailand and only visited Anfield once, I will NEVER consider buying such thing. Can't imagine myself in a scarf bearing the manc/the blue shite/chelski/etc name (even only half of that.) If I need a souvenir, I can buy match programme. That suits me well. Do hope to go back there some times in the near future.....
