Statues of Gandhi and Mandela also boarded up, because the Fash are on the march tomorrow.

Somebody sprayed "is a racist" on the statue of Churchill.  It'd be interesting to see what the Fash would be spraying on Mandela and Gandhi in response.

woz ere

We’re rapidly heading for Richard Littlejohn “You couldn’t make it up” territory. Where any bigots already minded not to see the original source of protests as important/relevant can feel justified in hand-waving the whole movement away, because fringe elements to it are behaving toxically/anger has spilled over/people are opportunistically co-opting the protests for their own ends. Its the same thing arseholes do when there’s a proven false accusation of rape; use it as a cheap gotcha to diminish the credibility of women reporting sexual assault generally.

Shit like an episode of Fawlty Towers being briefly removed/amended - almost certainly self-policing by out of touch white executives motivated by the fear of bad PR/losing money - is as relevant to the original protests as self-indulgent Labour supporters calling Rachel Riley a slag on Twitter was to the ‘proof’ Corbyn was toxic. Thinking also of that Extinction Rebellion bellend who jumped on top of the tube and un-did much public sympathy for them at a stroke.

It would obviously just be better all round for the causes supposedly being supported if bandwagon jumpers didn’t do it, given the obvious harm it will inevitably cause the perception of movements other people have given a lot more time, heart and soul to in more measured fashion. Nonetheless, if the central message is a just and fair one, that shouldn’t get lost in the rush to paint some of the clumsy ways this situation plays out as indicative the whole thing is just political correctness gone mad woke lefty libtards acting out.

She is one though the fucking boot

This would have been back in the 90’s mate and was probably made in the 80’s, so doubt it would still be around. Anyway the title was intrinsic to the plot.

Poor Momo. I hope the quality education and opportunity to build his dream fashion brand (sustainable) goes well in the country that invented racism.

Do you think the fact that he's trying to make a career somehow proves that there isn't a serious problem of racism in the UK?

er..yes? You don't think its ironic that a guy with a banner depicting racism is invented in the UK, is getting an opportunity as a minority to forge a career for himself in the UK?

No.

People who suffer racism can still have jobs.  Why is this difficult to understand?

But i thought they didn't get opportunities? Over the last few days some of you in here have been quick to generalise that everything is racist and thats that. The problem is, you cherry pick what you want to understand. Momo looks like he's getting an opportunity in this country to do something with his life.

its just fucking bizarre all round. I don't even know if you lot know what you are supposedly fighting for.

When I was doing my training in the Navy one of our instructors called a white south african a 'kaffir' jokingly. The lad reported him and genuinely wanted him kicked out the forces. The Chief who said it was 24 years served or something and this lad wanted his career destroyed over a joke.

To me I think the lad was being a twat about it but people get offended by things differently and you can't compare your own tolerance to anyone elses.
