What a composer! A Canadian, able to write the best Civil War song ever? That’s talent. I’ve never been as emotional and moved as when I sat thru ‘The Last Waltz’ in ‘78 at a huge cinema, with a (for the time) kick-ass sound system. The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down was the greatest version of that song that The Band ever performed. Trust Scorsese to be there with cameras rolling.
