Not sure how a Northern Independence would square the circle of Liverpool being very different in outlook to Bolton or Middlesbrough, for example. There Red Wall's collapse would tell me there's very little that unites the north of England.

Isn't one of the co-founders (The Brighton one) known for a few anti-semitic tweets in his past? 

 

I honestly thought this whole NIP was some novelty wind-up. A scan of their twitter tells me that not only is it a piss-take, its also taking itself serious. Fucking hell is anyone buying into them? 

 

As for Margaret Hodge, fuck her. She'd weaponise anti-semitism anytime her cushy little nest egg gets threatened.
