Why didnt that Sacoolas woman just accept the summons to appear in court instead of pleading diplomatic Immunity and running back to the US, after she killed that lad by driving on the wrong side of the road?

She probably would have got fined and banned from driving in the UK instead of looking after her own sorry arse and causing his parents untold grief.

I hate her for being such a stuck up Cunt about it. A young man is dead and she’s more arsed about her inconvenience. Fucking bitch

Has Keith Bennett's remains finally been found? One of the victims of Brady and Hindley, his body was never found despite repeated pleas to the 2 murderers to disclose his whereabouts.

But, after a child's skull was found on Saddleworth Moor near to where the other victims were buried, police have reopened investigations. Let's hope they have found him and can at last, give him a family burial.

Police are digging in a search for the remains of Moors murders victim Keith Bennett after a skull was found more than half a century after he went missing.

The breakthrough follows repeated searches carried out by officers, together with Keith’s family, in an attempt to find his remains.

Martin Bottomley, Greater Manchester Police's review officer, has confirmed that the force are investigating.

Keith was one of five children killed by Ian Brady and his partner Myra Hindley in the early 1960s.

It emerged on Friday that a skull believed to be that of a child aged around 12 had been found on Saddleworth Moor.

Detectives are preparing to exhume a particular area where suspected skeletal remains have been found, including what experts believe to be a child’s upper jaw with a full set of teeth, the Daily Mail reported.

Keith, 12, was abducted on his way to visit his grandmother in Manchester on 16 June 1964.

His mother Winnie Johnson died in 2012 at the age of 78, never having discovered what happened to her son’s body.

Forensic anthropologists from Greater Manchester Police are understood to be examining potential samples of body tissue taken from the area in the hope of extracting DNA which could finally crack the infamous case.

Detectives are also looking at a small sample of material thought to be clothing found buried 3ft underground beside the skull.

The significant development comes after the author Russell Edwards gathered a team of experts in a bid to solve the mystery of Keith’s whereabouts.

Hindley lured the teenager into a van by asking him to help with some boxes, while her lover Brady sat watching from the back seat. Between July 1963 and October 1965, the pair murdered five children before Brady was eventually caught red-handed with the body of their final victim, 17-year-old Edward Evans.

Extensive searches of the Moors led to the discovery of the bodies of Pauline Reade, 16, John Kilbride, 12 and Lesley Ann Downey, 10, but Keith’s body was never found.

After seven years Mr Edwards believed that he had located Keith’s grave, just a few hundred yards from the site where the couple buried their other victims.

Following extensive soil analysis indicating the presence of human remains, Mr Edwards started a dig under the supervision of a geologist and expert archaeologist.

He discovered a skull which experts believe is that of a child aged around 11- 12 based on the teeth present.

Three independent experts have now identified remains at the site as being human.

Greater Manchester Police rushed a team of officers and forensic experts to Saddleworth Moor on Thursday night, within hours of receiving information from Mr Edwards about his findings.

Forensic archaeologist Dawn Keen, who specialises in the study of human remains, remotely supervised the ‘grave cut’. She told the Daily Mail: “I do believe there are human remains there. They [police] have got to look. From the photographs, I saw the teeth, I could see the canines, I could see the incisors, I could see the first molar. It is the left side of an upper jaw. There is no way that it is an animal.”

Geologist Lesley Dunlop also carried out soil analysis at the scene which indicated human remains were present.

Chemical analysis revealed high levels of calcium and phosphorus which indicates bones were in the soil.

There was also nickel present which is usually found in zips and fastenings as well as the clothing dye cobalt, which would suggest that it is not animal remains.

The university lecturer told the Daily Mail: “From my analysis and from my visual impression, I would say that this area has had human remains in it. “I cannot think of another explanation other than it being human remains.”

Mr Edwards described the moment he made the discovery, saying: “The smell hit me about 2ft down. Like a sewer, like ammonia. It was on my clothes. I stank of it. The soil reeked. I worked as a gravedigger when I was 19. That hits you, that smell of death. It is distinctive.

“Then we found blue and white striped material. Then I stopped. I put everything back as I found it.”

Mr Edwards said he is convinced it is the 12-year-old’s body, adding: “This is about peace for Keith and closure for the family.”

Keith’s brother Alan, 66, who has devoted his life to trying to find his sibling, was informed about the extraordinary discovery. Sources described him as “stoic” when he was told.

Greater Manchester Police's Officer Bottomley said: “The site was assessed late last night and, this morning, specialist officers have begun initial exploration activity.

We are in the very early stages of assessing the information which has been brought to our attention but have made the decision to act on it in line with a normal response to a report of this kind.

“It is far too early to be certain whether human remains have been discovered and this is expected to take some time.

“We have always said that GMP would act on any significant information which may lead to the recovery of Keith and reunite him with his family. As such, we have informed his brother of the potential development - he does not wish to be contacted at this time and asks that his privacy is respected.”

Lucy Letby trial kicked off today. They don't seem to have much evidence so far apart from lots of babies seemed to get sick or die when she was on duty. Remember correlation is not causation. The defence rests.

They’ve got enough for a 6 month trial.

Yes I saw that and wondered why. I'm guessing her defence would be either it's just statistical coincidence or there is no evidence of mens rea, a guilty mind  maybe a bit of both, "its all just statistics, I didn't mean to kill anybody but I may have fucked up sometimes because I worked so hard".

I think she'll get off.
