It's got to be said any midfielder who was fit and didn't start that game has every right to wonder what their future holds. Getting selected behind an 18 year old kid who's played one competitive game and 2 or 3 friendlies in his short career is a kick in the balls. Let's hope nabby's agent see the writing is on the wall and finds his player a new club today.

Ah, that's  bollocks, he needs to be asking himself what he can do better to cement his spot. I really want Naby to be the signing we thought we got. A couple of reasonable games is far from that.

He's been asking that question since he's been here. He's fucking shite and the manager doesn't trust him.

He should have played.  He was in fine form.  Henderson and Fabinho struggling for fitness and Thiago the same, along with being shite from day one.

Agent running his mouth won’t help.

Fine form ? He disappears for way too many minutes for that to be true IMO.

He was hardly in fine form. He was doing a basic job in midfield, which is scraping the barrell of the expectations we had when we signed him.

This is the thing that happens when players don't contribute. As soon as they reach the level of mediocre, everyone raves about them just because they're not shit.

But isn't that what Jurgen wants from midfielders ?

He actually bristled at the thought they might score goals occasionally.

Not sure, it's a puzzle.

I think Naby was signed for the stand out attributes he showed in the Bundesliga, agressive, the ability to move forward with the ball, explosive, long range shooting. I don't think we spent the money we did on him for his simple passing game.  But something has changed since he got here. Certainly I think his agression has had to be curtailed in this country and maybe that's clipped his wings too much.  But no way was he signed with the idea to completely change his game from the one we spent nearly £60m on.

Around the World Club thingy I thought that was the plan to have Keita getting ahead of the strikers , but as you say this has been curtailed and we apoear not to want any mids getting into the box.

Do you not think we normally rotate when we're playing twice a week?

Maybe. But I don't remember us ever having a settled midfield, twice a week or otherwise.

We always used to guess which 2 of the 5 (Milner, Gini  Hendo, Fabinho, Keita) would miss out on the way to he game.

Even before Keita, it was Oxlade or Lallana, and before Fabinho it was Can.

Klopp definitely changes it up, but I think for periods he has his best 3, which for some time was fab, hendo and Gini, which you would see in the big games. I don't think keita was rested or anything like that. He was just dropped. He'll play games this season if he can stay fit, but I don't expect him to play any big matches unless there's an enormous turn around in his contribution.

I saw Keita coming out of the tunnel for the Burnley game and he had the stature and build of about a 14 year old kid, even smaller than a good few even. He simply doesn't look physically strong enough.

Yes, this definitely looks like a 14 year old, smaller than a 14 year old, even. Fucking hell. The obsession with thinking some players are "lightweight" rots people's brains, I swear.

Just because he has biceps doesnt mean he is strong enough to endure 40+ games in a top PL team's season. He's yet to disprove this point.

You said he looks smaller than a 14 year old, not that. Just admit you were talking nonsense, ffs.

He does look smaller than many 14 year olds,he's about 5ft 5. No idea why you have such a bee in your bonnet but he does look very small and I stand by that.

What does height have to do with strength and why is it an impediment? He's as tall as Messi. And he's jacked. He looks like he's on PED's in that photo.

I have a bee in my bonnet because you're patently talking crap and not admitting it. It's weird.
