I woke up on a beach in Malaga. I had been driving all night and needed to sleep, so parking beside the beach was a good choice. It made it easier to take a leak since there were no toilets nearby. My band 'Pre-Menstrual Farts' had been touring all week and we finally had a few days off to relax. While not arguing with you about his value, he didn't look a likely selection for today's game when he limped off on Monday while playing for the reserves, and I was surprised anyone thought that he might play today.

From the lineup it looks like Milner Allen and Lucas will start one Thursday so 3 of Coutinho Lallana Firmino and Sturridge to start so going on that I wouldn't be hopeful of DS starting. However Klopp has just said that the reason some have not started is because they are tired from Thursday rather than rested for next Thursday. I think and hope he will play 60 today, score and start Thursday night.

Actually not a bad team that, looking forward to see how Chirivella does. Would have liked to see Brannagan instead of Stewart, think him and Chiri could complement each other even better. Glad to see Clyne starting, as Montero can be a handful (don't think Randall would have fared well). There's goals in our side, and if they work hard enough they will get opportunities to break and counter.

 

I've got Juve, Milan, Saints+1.5 and us outright to win 400£, so hopefully we can put the necessary effort (and goals) in...
