29th August 2015 - Home against West Ham

It's extremely noticeable how slow we are to break forwards. Everything is overthought and any quick ball out from defence is all-too-soon passed back to the centrebacks to pass around by themselves. It may stroke the ego, but it's completely impotent and infuriating to watch.

you may not have noticed, but there was zero creativity when they were both on.  Unless you're talking about creative ways of handing possession back to West Ham.

They're still two of our most capable players for it, doesn't mean something couldn't have happened if one or more had stayed on.

Maybe getting better at crossing will help us too though.

In light of this performance - had we really started the season well? I reckon we had just been lucky. Only one decent showing against Arsenal gave any confidence.

Apart from that we have played very poorly The reason people worry about performances is that in the long-term you don't play dirge and keep winning.

Then he'll never be sacked. Keep giving him the money until we surpass Portsmouth. Maybe at that point some entrepreneur will buy the club and move us to Bedford.

I can't see if happening until the End of the Season unless we're near the bottom which won't be the case.

This has been on the cards, the same as the end of season collapse.

It's fine to stick with a side getting results, but when a large amount of those results have flattered the performances and relied on luck, sooner or later the luck will evaporate.

We continue to react to terrible performances and the ensuing results rather than pre-empting them.

The horse bolts and we start fiddling with the stable door.
