That rather depends on your career goals. If it's to make as much money as possible with the minimum effort, he's doing sound.

He’s a fantastic human being too, never gives less than 10%, nothing comes before football. His wife and family and money come before football as I say

I'm not bitter about him leaving and gets too much abuse from us on social media IMO. He saw out his contract, we should've sold him sooner if we really wanted money for him. I'd take him back on loan in Jan as we need some cover in midfield with Fab and Ox out but no way would want him back permanently.

There's not one occasion since he left that I've seen the team play and thought I wish we still had Emre Can. Good or bad player is irrelevant as is he .

I'm pretty sure in his last game when he came on as a sub against Real Madrid he only gave 9%.

I'm so used to him being out I forgot about him! That still leaves us with henderson, Gini , milner, keita and lallana for 5 spots and even Shaq at a push (although apparently he missed yesterday with a muscle injury?). I'd also not be upset on Jones getting some minutes. We can't sign anyone for sheff United, so it's maybe 4 league games before Chamberlain and fabinho are both back. I reckon that's plenty. Would that be Liverpool, champions of Europe, the world and hopefully England soon. May well be a few regrets there.
