Selling Sakho

  1. 1. Would it be a mistake to sell him?

He's not without his faults and is far from the world class defender some portray him as but one thing for sure, he's a damn sight better than Lovren and we've seen the end of the latter starting ahead of him now the fool is gone.

But I think it was more the system that played to his faults and our "midfield". In PSG or for France those errors were rare or non-existent or am I wrong here?

Out team is set up to guarantee more pressure on the CBs than is appropriate. Let's hope this changes with the introduction of our new manager

I wouldn't count on it...

''Dortmund have played a lot of 4-4-2 this season. It’s been football without a safety net, reliant on the individual class of his defenders to cope in situations with numerical parity or worse.'' The Guardian, 2014.

ha ha still hurts like a motherfucker

I was glad.

It was the same little Englander shite from the press then as it is now.

The difference was that the team had some very good players and was managed by a top manager and a thoroughly decent human being. The press still hounded the man despite his achievements 4 years later with a pretty average team, overall,at the time.

Maradona leaving Peter Reid and Terry Fenwick for dead was hilarious too.

Outstanding again today. If he can stay fit, I wouldn't swap him for anyone in the league. Also, there's not a centre half who is a better passer of a ball than him in this league. He seems to have sorted out his devision making on the ball.

But the weight of his passes and passing to the right side of a players body is top notch. I really rate the lad.

The ball to Benteke that lead to the second today was brilliant.
