Only 20 degrees?

Haha, I fucking wish! I don't give a shit if our winter isn't as long as some other parts of the world, it doesn't make me like it any more.

Honestly, the upcoming Ashes and Aussie Rules season being in full swing are the only things I can genuinely look forward to at the moment.

Come on man, it's beautiful out at the moment. Blue sky, sunny, just with a little bit of nip in the air.

I bloody love summer. The days are insanely long and I have so much energy. I have been mainly working in my garden, going for the odd run and always finishing the day with a swim in the lake, which is about 22 degrees now. then a cold beer in the last of the sunshine around 9 pm. It is fucking glorious.

She goes back Wednesday.

Best neg her.

I think not. TheBitch asked me to organise sunshine and it looks like I have. And for good measure I was happy for everyone else here to have some. I'm good like that

I'm going to Scotland tomorrow and the chance of rain is nil. It's never nil. This is good news. Also Champ isn't there. Double win!

You still here? T in the Park starts today. Its never dry for T in the Park.

I've woken to a blanket of grey cloud. This is not what I've become used to! However, I've seen the forecast so I remain hopeful.

Sitting in the garden reading the paper, watching the cricket, listening to the Disclosure record and drinking Pimm's in the sunshine as Mrs Paul brings a chorizo, olive, avocado, feta and crouton salad out. Struggling on.

Way to posh for the Wirral. I never developed a taste for Pimms. I tried some shandy last month when I down south for a 'summer drink' and it was fucking shite...they do not make proper shandy here. When I was young lad my Dad used to let me have shandy and I loved it. London Dry I think it was.

Summer where I live is 22 hrs of sunshine, then 2hrs of dusk. Don't sleep properly as its never dark.

Mosquitoes are insane. I've no garden, there are no newspapers. When I went to the shop to purchase an avocado I had to explain to the Inuit girl what is was. She thought it was a pear.

Usually I head south to the Boreal Forest with a tent, fishing rod and cooler but the last two years I've had to incur costs of my bloody kids in uni. The fuckers never go away do they?

Ha, ha, ha!

Pimm's is a relatively new one for me. It's a fucking crafty little fucker on a summer's day though. Slides down super quick and has you leathered in short order. I love the strawbs and cucumber combo in there too.
