Could it get any better than a plain talking, no-nonsense northern couple meeting a posh southern couple in a foreign place with stupid foreigners in it!? Not to mention the fact that it even stars the king of comic delivery himself, Keith "the comic's comic" Barron!!

I was also going to nominate 'Allo, 'Allo or Mind Your Language. But that would be racialist. "Apparently".

Fawlty Towers and Blackadder are by far my favourites.

The strange one is Minty Pythons flying circus.I live Python in general but some of the series isn't very good at all.The best bits are superb but others drag in and are pretty shit. The films work better than the series IMO.

Garth Marenghi's Darkplace.

Boss shout.

"All I do, is sit down at the typewriter, and start hittin' the keys. Getting them in the right order, that's the trick. That's the trick."

Mine include the above, along with the following:

Extras (just for the Patrick Stewart "And I seen everything" scene)

The Office

Only Fools

Blackadder

Comic Strip Presents...

The Mary Whitehouse Experience

Derek (brilliant piece of writing)

The IT Crowd

Porridge

Open All Hours

EDIT: Oh... and Vic and Bob as truefan says.

Very good as is the shout for Operation Good Guys.

The film Love, Honour and Obey is a feature length episode of the series or at least a cast of all the same actors.

Not The Nine O'Clock News

Naked Video

Rab C Nesbitt

The Fast Show

You missed A Kick Up the Eighties, Shelley and Three of a Kind. That would have confirmed you 100% as a man born in 1971.

Can't believe no one has mentioned Gimme, Gimme, Gimme. I know is not cool to watch this type of comedy but its fecking funny.

PS. Fawlty Towers is not funny.

So, just to confirm I heard you right, Gimme Gimme Gimme is funny and Fawlty Towers isn't. That's what you're saying? I'm not making that up am I? That IS what you're saying?

Kinell no rising damp? Rossiter is a master in comic timing and mannerisms, superb show for the 70's.

Don't worry about me; after Anzio every day is a bonus...
