From offal When making his debut against Stoke 10 days ago Suarez became the 34th player to appear for the club this season - a club record. Damn hard to think of everybody that played so far this year (or dawned a shirt:(). Hard to believe we've had 33 so far, bloody hell. Anyone care to take a stab at naming the full 33?

We're not just playing better, we're playing differently. What Hodgson tried to do is irrelevant. What we are seeing under Kenny is what we've been crying out for years. Under the better part of Benitez' reign we controlled games brilliant, quick precise passing, it wasn't often forward thinking but was effective in it's own way. Very difficult to beat down. But under Kenny, we're so much more forward thinking, it's really something to admire. We get the ball, we look forward, we look for the forward pass and we attempt that forward pass. Within 30 seconds of receiving the ball, we're looking for the forward option, and the player passing the ball is pushing forw…

Always knew there was a chance he'd go but not like this, he's shit on us royally and ruined some absolutely fantastic memories, at the end of the day fuck him, fuck him in the arse. New manager, new owners, new players, new spirit, it's a true fucking testament to the king that we can lose him and keep the fantastic spirit that has been around today, onwards and upwards, I haven't felt this good about the team and football in general in months, even years, long may it continue and no number 9 will change that.

Any spares for Saturday?

I've a Malaysian friend over in the UK with his Mrs at the moment who's an absolutely massive Liverpool fan. He went to the stadium tour last week and said to me it would have been a dream to go the game. He said no more of it and so I know he wasn't dropping the hint but I also know that I'd love to make that dream come true for him. A big issue obviously is that I'm over here in Oz and so am limited in looking for tickets myself. As such I was wondering - and I know this is a big ask - if the kind and good people here at TLW would be able to help out? I need a couple of tickets if anyone has two spare? I'll get my brother to pick them up and pay you. As I said, he's…

Did something happen between tham at Chelsea or is Cole simply not match fit and carrying an injury?

Time to ruin Torres' day and get a result at Chelsea. A big game in which both sides will be up for and if we win fourth place might be possible. I think a few players pick themselves - Reina, Kelly, Carragher (if fit), Agger, Johnson, Gerrard, Lucas, Meireles and Suarez. The question is who takes the other spots and what formation do we play? I'd go: --------------------Reina---------------------- Kelly------Carragher-------Agger--------Johnson ---------------------Lucas--------------------- -----------Gerrard------------Meireles---------- ---Maxi---------------Kuyt------------Suarez---

I can get one ticket for the game, but is there any possibility that someone could get a spare one for me. As I would like to take a mate for the company and to share the petrol money. Thank you.

Am posting this up here simply because I really enjoyed watching it - it's the full 25-minute unedited interview Rafael Benitez did with the BBC last week. I'm assuming some other people on here will really enioy this as well. Especially if, like me, you missed the edited version on Football Focus. However, I have heard along the grapevine that there are some Liverpool fans who do not like said former manager... well, this one's probably not for you, chaps. No need for another 20-page row about his merits, achievements, spend etc - just watch it if you want. BBC - Dan Walker: Chess-loving Benitez lays out welcome mat

I havent posted this in the FF for obvious reasons but its my long held view is the owners didnt act sooner because they didnt want the scenario that is unfolding today to happen and would have preferred not to have appointed Kenny and gone for a new manager in the summer. However they had no choice to appoint Kenny as the team was in the mist of a relegation battle and now the King has us 6th (the position I think our current squad merits) looking to make a big suprise and sneak 4th. However today Kenny showed great strength as a manager and didnt play Suarez and out thought Ancellotti which shows he has the tactical acumen to be our manager for the future. I…

Ever since he returned from injury around Christmas 2009, I've been one of the lad's biggest critics. After a promising start to his Liverpool career, the way his form nosedived so drastically was nothing short of staggering. The long held view that he was 'good going forward but poor defensively' proved to be more than a cliche as he frequent lapses in concentration and sloppy errors blighted his game. I'd even go as far as to say that he even looked disinterested at times. However, as with a lot of players in the squad, the effect the King has had on his game has been incredible. I'd even go as far as to say that switching him over to the left hand side has been not…

Nice to see a Liverpool manager pulling players out of meaningless international 'friendlies' to keep them ready and raring to go for our club. That ginsoaked twat down the east lancs has got away with doing it for years. Gerrin Kenny, lad!

TheFA.com - Babel admits charge Wise. It was a stupid thing to do in the first place, even though we all agree about the issue, but banning him would be even more stupid. Hopefully he'll get off with a warning or maybe a fine.

Towards the end, Torres was literally forced out the club. Carragher, Gerrard has words with him......and Pepe Reina. Words where said, essentially telling him to fuck off if he doesn't want to play for us, and Kenny called all 3 + Kuyt and asked if we should keep him. All 4 of them said no. Maybe Dave can shed some light on this, or quash it.

How Will We Line Up? 1 2
by Guest LFD- 32 replies

Now the transfer window is closed how do you think the team will line up with the additions of Carroll and Suarez? (when both fit) I think we might be best with Gerrard on the right: Gerrard-------Lucas------Meireles------Cole / Maxi --------------Suarez-----Carroll------------------ However so far under Kenny we have seen either 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1. I wonder how he is thinking of lining up now we have these two additions.

The wages this lad's on are supposedly incredible, is he really on over 100k per week? Did anyone actually look for him in the window? Will he be our latest unflushable turd or can he yet offer something on the left?

as opposed to a player who 'can do a job'. One thing that his impressed me about this transfer window and Kenny/Comolli/FSG's approach to buying players has been to target players that are right for thier positions. No more of this, yeah he's sort of a striker that plays in the hole and can do a job out wide both left and right stuff. Everyone we bought/approached are not utility players, square pegs in holes. We wanted two strikers, we got two strikers. We needed a winger, we approached a winger and they identified a central midfielder and went for him. Of course you need your jack of all trades in any squad, but what really needed improving was the f…
