I don't see how that is possible. He's not the president. He doesn't have any mandate of the people beyond his own constituency.

I think, but I'm not 100% sure it was part of some new legislation they brought in to give the PM more powers.

There is no written constitution, that’s the issue.

 

Lots of rules, laws and regulations all of which are open to interpretation.

 

We’re in a real grey area here and it’s going to be interesting to see what arguments and actions come of it.
