I don’t think the gritty atmosphere of the first few games would translate to TV, so I’m good with it looking more like Fallout 4 / Fallout 76

It's not so much the gritty atmosphere it's lots of little things that could very well be just a bad teaser trailer, Fallout 4 was the most colourful of the Bethesda Fallout games but it was still grim and felt dangerous and lived in.

Nearly every shot was flat dull wasteland, it had that shiny video game filter on it like Halo, the Power Armour seemed to lack any discernible weight to it, the view of the active vault just looked like a set/green screen even the 50's aesthetic seemed to have been modernised slightly.

I know it's set in California (where are the NCR, are we going to get the Legion?) but I wanted to see more built up crumbling ruins and re-purposed landmarks.

Maybe I was spoiled by the Last of Us in terms of set design or maybe the full trailer will give us a better look at the things we didn't see,

I’m sure they are holding tons back, be interesting to see how close to the games they take it when it comes out.
