Why has Aislan not ever been capped for the national side even at youth level and he's 22? Also says he only played 4 games for Sao Paulo according to Wiki?

Cause he was stabbed to death in the end of the first book, and haven't reappeared in a fully visible form since then. Do keep up.

We want to sign the Lion from Chronicles of Narnia?

Have you seen that lion tackle. Nobody would fuck with our players if we put him in the holding role. It'll be like having Souness back in midfield. But with hair, teeth and claws. And blood. Lots of opposition blood.

For the life of me I just can't understand why people get all wet by the Idea of us signing ex-Liverpool players. Crouch, Keane, Bellamy. What next? Owen?...

For me signing anyone of the above mentioned would not be a step in the right direction. We seem to have some momentum going now with the way Roy is trying to build something new... as in NEW, not previously owned, tried and/or proven to not work.

If we do sign one of these ex-Liverpool players and they turn out to not work out... again. I know I'll be twice as pissed as if, say Poulsen or someone else, don't work out.

That's a bit short-sighted mate. People are talking about ex players who had qualities that we've miss since they left or, even more relevant, that didn't thrive under Rafa as we all expected. Keane is the case in point here. There aren't many Premiership fans who didn't think Keane would be a great signing for us. Even, the missing part of the League Title puzzle.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of Bellamy, but if he's going cheap then we should have him. Definitely. He causes problems for defenders.... and would be worth the fee for the shit he gives Mongo alone.

Anyway. It's all about cost.

Still.

He's a great player, but he's also a prick. We've got enough problems without that little bell-end adding to them week after week.

Barcelona are favourites to land Javier Mascherano and will offer former Arsenal man Alexander Hleb in part-exchange.

Mascherano has reportedly told Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson that he would like to leave Anfield. However, Hodgson has made it clear that the club, not the player will decide the terms of Mascherano's exit.

Barcelona attempted to sign the 26-year-old last summer and now Mascherano has reignited the possibility of a move to the Nou Camp with his representative in Spain Horacio Zandonadi saying, "The player would love to hear from Barca."

Reports in several Spanish dailies suggest that Barcelona are keen on capturing Mascherano and see him as the natural battling midfielder to fill the hole left by Yaya Toure, who left for Manchester City this summer.

Liverpool are considering making a move for highly rated midfielder Mario Bolatti, currently under contract with Fiorentina, claims Argentinian newspaper Ole.

Reds boss Roy Hodgson sees the 25-year-old Bolatti as the perfect replacement for Javier Mascherano.

Bolatti started his professional career with Belgrano and also played for Porto and Huracan before joining Fiorentina in January 2010.

The Argentinian international initially appeared to be on his way to River Plate on a one-year loan deal, but Liverpool's interest could very well convince Bolatti to stay in Europe after all.

If Masch goes to Barca than I really hope we make a deal that's good for us. If not he'll stay and play even if he doesn't want to. And we want 25-30M but if they want to include a player into the deal I don't want Hleb I want Bojan/Maxwell or Pedro. I still think Masch will stay here after all..
