    Been there and tried that mate, doesn't work. Too many kids here that would rather abuse people than talk about football. There is a pack mentality here, its virtually unmoderated and is a free for all, and the established folk on here rule and everyone else is just here. Since the gold members can into play i've looked at some of the tags written and negs that only gold members can do and its fucking pathetic, seriously. If these folks are above 18 years of age they have the brain power of a retarded chimpanse. I've given up trying to be nice and polite as it literally gets you nowhere when there's morons involved, i won't be here much longer so i've decided to stoop to the level that is on here, temporarily of course. You'll be glad to get rid of me and i can tell ya i'll be delighted not to have to listen to some of the mundane idiotic abuse for the same old retards that literally cannot see the concept of agreeing to disagree but then call me arrogant, haha thats why i take these negs from the same old boyos with a masive pinch of salt, ignorance is bliss. I am on 4 other forums and TLW is an epic free for all in comparison, anyways i'm off, might pop back later to check the abuse levels, some people can really argue their way out of a paper bag, well done boys tip of the hat.

When someone starts a thread dedicated to slagging someone off on a football forum and thats acceptable, well they can neg me all they want cause i think thats fucking pathetic. i only pop in here now and again these days i'll be gone shortly don't worry, do all my footballing talking on other sites that people actually talk about football instead of abusing each other, its an interesting concept.     I hear ya mate but Poulsen has played for Liverpool for a few weeks, Lucas has been here for 3 years, the guy is adapting and yes he is off the pace which is expected but you can't denying on the ball he is far more comfortable than Lucas and has much more composure on and off the ball too. Poulsen can defend, thats evident through out his career that is his main asset. But i'm happy that he can play a bit of ball too, i'll give him the benefit of the doubt so far as when we signed him i was very disappointed and at the moment i think he's done a decent job. Poulsen & Merieles IMO will be the CM pairing but both have to adapt and gel, and get used to pae and tempo of the league before we are cofortable to play these two together.

Mate i've discovered that being polite and talking about football gets you absolutely nowhere on this site, i do most of my football and liverpool talking on other sites, as its 90% abuse here and 10% football. Some nice people here and some not so nice people here, such is life but lot of kids on here. Like i said i've tried to be polite but sure now and again ya just can't help yourself.

    None of our team made a tackle mate, that was one of the problems, not closing them down like they did to us, he can add to his game for sure but Poulsen's work rate was excellent and playing with the enigma that is Lucas ain't no easy feat, Poulsen is still adapting and is just off the pace. But He used the ball very well yesterday, was very composed and i thought his second half performance was very good. And i'm not the only one mate, prob not on this site but behind Reina & Konchesky he was our best player in a dismal game, lots of people on 2 other sites i'm on saying same as myself, different strokes i suppose.

    Yup, i reckon we'll see Cole deployed on the left as the season goes on, and thats purely because we have fuck all other options out there, Jovo looks woeful. With Torres/Gerrard/Cole playing in same 11 and hopefully Poulsen & Merieles gel it should look a hell of alot more positive, Poulsen is already streets ahead of Lucas although that ain't hard, uses the ball better and is more composed, still bit of the pace though. As for our backline, thought Konchesky had solid game, bit nervy in first half but good second half, Skrtel is shite and has been for while now, he is rash,clumsy and has no footballing brain and for such a big intimidating lad his gash in the air. Johnson is a liability at defending, as many have stated i'd well have Kelly at RB and Johnson at RM, IMO that would represent a more dynamic and solid partnership as Kuyt is only suited for certain games and Maxi actually doesn't do anything whatsoever. Atrocious game but could have been worse, blessed to get a point. What struck me the most was the complete lack of movement around the whole team, so static. We lack pace and width as it is, add no movement to that and that makes us predictable and easy to play against. I like Roy and don't feel he deserves some of the stick that some cunts are giving him he's only been here a wet day FFS, but he showed a complete lack of urgency again with subs, his team selection was questionable i.e. Skrtel for Agger, i can understand why he didn't start Merieles. But what annoyed me most of all was our negative approach, been watching that shit under Rafa for years now, if we wanted a manager that goes out not to lose instead of to win and plays negative football we would have stuck with Rafa, get the fucking finger out Roy, stop making the same mistakes Rafa did and make the team your own and enough with the defeatist comments after the game, not good. IMO against Mancs: ---------------Reina--------- Johnson--Carra--Agger--Konchesky Babel--Poulsen--Merieles--Cole ------------Gerrard------------- ------------Torres-------------- Or --------------Reina-------------- Kelly--Carra--Agger--Konchesky Johnson--Poulsen--Merieles--Cole ------------Gerrard------------- ------------Torres-------------- More solidity with Skrtel and Lucas out and bags of creativity,width and craft. All i all not looking forward to this game in the slightest.

    Lot of knee jerking going on, IMO the positives are with Konchesky coming in with a solid display hopefully he is ok after injury and Agger replacing the calamity that is Martin Strkel our defence should look bit better, also hoping Lucas will be permanently benched now, all the Lucas Lovers must be in the shadows now the guy is a shocker,Poulsen who has been impressive will stand out more with the likes of Gerrard or Merieles beside him IMO, Lucas/Poulsen in CM completely nullifies our midfield. Cole coming back will be massive and i won't judge Roy until Cole/Torres/Gerrard are all in the same starting line up for 5 or 6 games. I like Roy but he showed a complete lack of urgency, questionable team selection and a negative approach, if we wanted that shit we should have kept Rafa. Roy really needs to get a grip of things. Our problems in the wide areas are absolutely glaring, Jovo looks woeful, a headless chicken and a poor mans Dirk Kuyt. Maxi on the right offers absolutely nothing, what does he actually do,seriously? He is lightweight,cant beat a man,doesn't get down the line,no crosses/shots, zero creativity and zero productivity. We have nothing out wide and the service to Torres form wide areas is nothing short of embarrassing. I can see Cole being used out left, even though i'd prefer him centrally i think he's our only option that can remotely provide a good outlet. Anyways we've had apoxy run of fixtures, the manc game i am dreading but with certain players back and the team looking stronger with new signings we should put in a better performance i pray! P.S.Glen Johnson can't defend to save his life, IMO Kelly should be RB pushing Johnson to RM in certain games.

    I thought Poulsen played well today. He is already streets ahead of Lucas, Poulsen is still of the pace and adapting but is far more composed on the ball than Lucas and is looking for that positive pass, Lucas has been here and is still running around like a headless chicken. He is a calamity, dreadful buy.
