It starts off well but seems to plod on a bit in the last five songs or so. The last few songs all seem to be much of a muchness. me.

Agree with that. I'd expect the last three tracks to tail off, but it starts going downhill midway through. They seem at their best when writing simple songs with a singalong chorus.

Ha, ha, ha!!! Reviewer, reveal thyself...

(They don't all get slated at all. Read again.)

All the albums I've heard were absolutely slated I meant. Oasis, The Verve, Kings of Leon and The Coral albums all got bad reviews, undeservedly so in my opinion.

I'll have a proper read later on. The point about music reviews still stands though, I hate them. I like to make my mind up about an album myself and a review (positive or negative) wouldn't change that. What's the point of them?

Woah, woah, woah. I love the Coral album. And I truly think the Verve album is awful (and A Northern Soul is one of my favourite albums ever, so I say that with great disappointment). And I didn't even review Kings of Leon.

Anyway, check out the Q-Tip single review for some positivity.....

Regarding DOYS, bits of it are the best things they've done in a long time soundwise, but I stand by the point that Liam should sing every song (bar maybe Falling Down type stuff). I have no problems with them nicking riffs and lyrics; I do have a problem with them then using exactly the same production methods so it just becomes a pastiche. And Oasis have been the most important band in the world to me, so I wasn't coming at it wanting to not like it..

As I said earlier, I've only heard DOYS once so I need a few more listens to get into it properly. I liked it initially though and thought there was a distinct change from the previous couple of albums. It still sounds like Oasis though, which for me will always be a good thing.

I like Forth but again, it took me a while to get into. Love Is Noise is fantastic, Ashcroft's vocal's on it absolutely rule. It's not as good as A Northern Soul or Urban Hyms in my opinion though, when I hoped it would surpass both.

Fair play with the Coral album, I've just re-read the review. I love the Coral, one of my favourite bands ever. I hate the fact that they've done a collection album already like (although I doubt it was their idea) but the songs on it are generally ace.

They speak the Truth Woo, i'm not scaremongering

It would be very easy just by using the power of Google for Oasis' Lable to find forums that were spreading links to their unreleased as of yet album

Any excuse for a pitiful revenge neg.

Seriously Woo, please stop posting Torrent links, it could get the site and Dave into trouble.

Ok, sorry guys, and Dave :(.

The album has really really grown on me after giving it a good few listens. Theres no real anthems on it, bar maybe Shock Of Lightning, but its a little different to what they normally do IMO.

Im Outta Time, Get Off Your High Horse Lady, The Nature Of Reality aswell as the two that have been our for a while are my favourites so far.
