Decent result regardless of what happens with the penalties. I can’t help but feel that not adding to the squad is an unnecessary risk, but this game should go some way to dispelling fears that we’ve become a mediocre team overnight.

Regardless of result, we looked hungrier than they did which is a good sign.

Rocky first half but really started to grow back into our form in the second. Started to blow off the cobwebs from preseason. Couldn't care less about the pens the point of this game was to gage how fast we are from City who have strength whilst we've stayed put. 

 

I think we'll be sound for the upcoming season.
