Doesn't matter anyway. The holders qualify automatically for the Champions League now.

Feel really sorry for Solanke.

 

He was great in pre-season.

 

Was never given a serious run in the team and his confidence has shattered because of it.

Mane did ok, but the other two at the front were hopeless - Salah didn't see the ball, and Firmino in one of his all too frequent fuckwit games making bad decision after bad decision. Henderson coming on made the heart sink when we needed bravery and commitment going forward.

I don’t know how any person with a brain can watch Alexander Arnold and Clyne and think Clyne isn’t a better player or full back. If we want to give ourselves the best chance of winning the champions league he needs to start. As brutal as that is on Trent it’s the right thing to do.

Agreed. Did people actually think we would get a result at Stamford Bridge after the game on Wednesday? After the Stoke and West Brom fuckups it was always gonna come down to Brighton, which is totally fine.

For me Clyne is the better player now when fully fit long term that may change, I think TAA will get better as he gets older / more experienced but if fully fit then clyne should start against Brighton and if he comes through unscathed then he should start in the final as well but like I said TAA will be our right back long term.
