Bournemouth(a) Pl- Match Thread

Amazing how quickly football can take the wind out of your sails, absolutely flying 6 days again and again we find ourselves at a crossroads. 2 infuriating results. The game in hand will suit us, Bournemouth will take us on and give us a proper game of football particularly at home. Last season here was a real horror show and the first phase of our faultering title challenge, still have fucking flashbacks of Milner diving in and giving away that needless pen and Origi losing an aerial dual with that fat midget Jack Wilshere and from that the cunts equalise. One of the lowest points of last season.

I’d call this a must win game and really important to gain a bit of momentum going into this Christmas period. Lallana back in the squad according to Klopp, so would 100% give him at least 30. Team: Mig, Gomez, Lovren, Klavan, Robertson, Oxlade, Milner, Can, Salah, Firmino, Coutinho. Expecting another high scoring game 3-1 or 3-2 to us.

Need to get back to winning ways after a couple of disappointing draws. We were starting to look solid for top four and now all of a sudden it looks like it will be a real fight. Lots more twists and turns to come, but we need to get more wins even if it’s not quite clicking for us.

I expect Bournemouth to have a go and think we will win by two.

A bit disappointing that it isn't even Xmas & hoping for Man City to beat Spurs as I am already conceding the title & assuming the fight is for top 4.

Realistically this is exactly where we should be when you look at resources & outlay , but can't help think a couple of extra signings in summer & we would be second , if not particularly close to City.

We've only conceded 2 goals from open play in our last 7 games, and 1 of those was a fluke from Willian.

Anyway, fuck the defence, let's open this up a bit.  I think we're struggling at the back with Moreno, Clyne and Matip out, and with Can suspended, so we're not exactly solid, so let's use our attack to put this away.

Klopp mentioned him as a doubt in passing in his presser today.
