Have we gone back in time or something? Leave won! We're coming out the EU! More people agree with me than you pal.

It's been really quiet in here lately also, I miss the pages and pages of hysterics the weeks after the result, what happened to the mass slitting of wrists?

What have you won? The 'Making the country 20% poorer' award? Yep, that's a great prize. Give yourself a pat on the back for a really intelligent choice.

Haha. "You can serve in Pret if you're 55" The unemployed youngsters are about to get Farmhand as a career choice. Well not really a choice, more like forced upon them.

More people agree with you, but more people watch Jeremy Kyle than listen to Radio 4. Usually it pays not to be following the majority, because the majority are usually wrong. We have more ignorant, ill-informed and thick people in this country than educated, informed and intelligent people. By design. It's a bummer, but that's the long and short of it. And, as I suspect you know, the tangible consequences of being out of Europe won't really be evident for a while yet. When the hysteria really takes hold, it won't be coming from my side of the argument.

Remind Njackets what the best selling paper in his "we won; everyone else shut up" country is.

Not to mention the racist element , the Little Englanders ,which is what so much of this is about, .  I agree that  most of the squealing will eventually come from the Leavers who will finally realise, what less intellectually challenged people saw from the outset namely that self serving cunts like Johnson , Gove and Farridge were doing a number on the electorate and Brexit won't mean mass deportations and there are no benefits to the economy or public services

The Little Englander's and the Leavers will continue directing their ire at the E.U./Europe because they get spoon fed that by the S*n, Mail and Express every single day. It'll all be about the money we still need to send to the E.U. that funds numerous projects in the UK, but that will be perceived as going to "lazy bureaucrats".

When I talk to many Leavers now their ferment and fevour is of a level of religious devotion, there is no reasonable conversation to be had. This has included the bunch who originally wanted a Norwegian model but now seem fixated on coming out of the Union at all costs.

As opposed to call centres? I'd imagine being a farmhand is better in most measures.

There's nothing wrong with an honest day's work and every summer I was busting my balls doing farm work. Unfortunately the stories you hear are locals don't want to do the work or have unrealistic wage demands. We shall see what happens because someone is going to have to do the work.

There's a lot of that at the moment, The narrative will change though and there are also a lot of Leavers that would change their mind given the chance but have their heads down. What we are told is that there is no appetite for another vote and the will of the people etc etc. A Brexit which delivers what it said on the tin is an impossibility and yes there will be attempts to blame the EU for not letting us have our cake and eat it but that's not going to a tenable reason why jobs and businesses are voting with their feet and we are stuck with onerous WTO rules for that long, This will eventually rebound on the Tories as I am pretty certain we will crash pout of the EU because the stupid cunts like Davies won't be able to get past the exit fee Brussels will want, May just wont be able to sell that to the dribbling chinless wonders on the right of her party. To those gung-ho whoppers waving their Union Jacks I would suggest look at your finances and then look at the wealthy individuals  telling you we must get our country back and ask yourselves who really has the most skin in the game.

One of my Facebook chums posted this today...

Several people have fallen out with me because I openly admitted that I voted to leave The European Union in the advisory referendum last year.
I did so because I was sick and tired of highly paid, unelected beaurocrats churning out inappropriate laws which, I believed, negatively on British citizens. Like so many others I was confused and badly misguided by the spurious rhetoric purveyed by politicians here and certainly not because I am racist or fascist such as many tories and ukippers.
I really didn't know enough about what I was casting my vote about and I was stunned when I learned that brexiteers had won. I have had plenty of time now to learn a few facts and I realised some time ago that I WAS WRONG. I was lied to and conned and I know that loads of others feel similarly.
If our government had any guts and brainpower, I would wholly support another referendum but this time legally binding.
If we end up stuck with brexit then my sincere, heartfelt apologies are due and offered to all who havecand will suffer because of my 'X'.

So Luton and Cheshire both voted out and with the proposed takeover of GM by Peugeot they could now see hefty job losses. I can't see where else plant closures would make sense.

Brexit, the vote that just keeps on taking.

It's called getting your country back . Odd that Farage , Gove and Johnson don't seem to have jobs in cars factories,
