It's been obvious to anyone who's watched Southampton over the last couple of years that Lallana's a really nice little footballer: technically good with a great work ethic and some end product. If he'd just arrived from overseas, people would be drooling over him.

 

Granted, the price tag looked excessive early in the window. But that's before the entire market went crazy...

 

Spot on, can understand a bit of moaning about the fee but to question his footballing ability is plain daft, he's clearly a class player, you just had to watch him for Southampton to see that, his quality stood out like a sore thumb.

I like Lallana, but when everyone is fit and Brendan will probably go with 2 up, I just don't know where he'll play regular, same can be said of Markovic, 40m there that could have been better spent where we most need it
