I can only assume that you are completely insane. We had possession of the fucking football. Are you suggesting that we should be marking opposition players when we've got the ball?

Oh, so you think its OK for one of our players to stand still and let an opposing player run past him and chase down the ball? You know, just in case the keeper or other defender fucks ups? OK then. You're spot on.

You clearly know absolutely nothing about football. You are suggesting, without any sarcasm that I can detect, that when we are in possession of the football our attacking players should be closing down opposition players. Mental.

Well we'll have to disagree then wont we?

One thing we can agree on though is that you're an absolute cock if you think our players should be stationary when we're 'in possession of the ball.'

He is clearly not comfortable with the ball at his feet, so it doesn't help when our defenders faff about at the back, invite pressure and then hurriedly give the ball to him. More often than not, we end up giving the ball away and all of a sudden, the opposition have numbers in attack to cause us a few problems. It's a combination of bad coaching and bad game management serving only to highlight Mignolet's and the defence's weaknesses. That Mignolet has such a weakness becomes but a side issue.

I wouldn't, he's a nightmare to spell correctly . Jones was obviously bought to solve this very problem and a pity it hasn't worked out

Aaahhhh.................  well at least we have solved the failed transfer of Henrikh Mkatiira .............Machitara..........Mkhhyt.........Mackita...............

...............Oh .......F**k it lets get Moses in.

Mignolet plays like the kid who nobody wants in their football team and who ends up in goal but who, despite having no natural ability, somehow ends up saving lots of high profile shots from the other team's star player. He throws his hands up in hope and closes his eyes, and the shots bounce off his arse, elbows and shins.

The other kids think a prodigy may have accidentally have been discovered and say 'he can go in goal every week', forgiving his many lapses and other obvious shortcomings, but next week he is shit and rightly shunned forever after.

I think his confidence is shot. When you're in poor form and lacking confidence things just seem to go continually wrong which compounds the issue even more.

If the team and defence was playing well, you could take him out of the team and play jones for a couple of games. But, seeing as the team and defence isnt, it would probably have no difference playing jones.

You are replacing Uncle Tom as the FF argument starter.

If you are in possession of the ball the opposition should be trying to mark and close you down and not vice versa.

This is why the top teams rely on possession of the ball as key to winning games as you dictate play and tire the opposition. Our problem is that a few of our players simply arent good enough to do this.
