Mignolet

It still baffles me that me signed a GK who is completely at odds with the style of play the manager actually plays.

Mind you its Liverpool so I shouldnt really be shocked.

Whys that?

We also signed two strikers this summer who were completely at odds with our system and the style we played last season.

And the rest of the laughable spending on attacking midfielders to support the previous system that wasn't suited to the new strikers signed, should prove that brendan and his boys have no strategy whatsoever.

The only baffling thing is these people making decisions are all still here.

If brendan is staying, then every other fucker needs to be sacked.

He is terrible and while our shite defence exposes that more often than it should it doesn't change the fact that he's terrible. Just look at United and how De Gea is performing for proof of why that's the case.

He's a decent shot stopper but most keepers in the league are and for every save like the Southampton one there are shockers like the City one in the next game where he shows Aguero a whole goal to aim at.

We have weaknesses all over the pitch but he is the biggest one.

de gea is the most overrated keeper in England. If he was at any other club, he'd be laughed at. lindergaard is actually a more complete keeper than him in my opinion. He's also an arrogant nutcase which helps if you're a keeper!

Looks like we have to stick with mignolet until the summer since the club isnt making noises about splashing the cash in January.

Which is why I suspect he wanted to sign vorn. He knew reina was struggling playing the ball out from the back and wanted a keeper he knew could do that job.

They must have thought they could educate mignolet to play that way but that's not proved to be the case.

A pointless wind up or you're completely clueless. Which is it?

An accurate assessment of the true picture. Of course if you think a keeper who chucks a leg out at a ball or prefers to use his foot is the definition of a good keeper then good for you.

Meanwhile, Mignolet didnt do anything wrong today. In fact his save around the 79th minute from a fierce drived looked to have saved a point.

The midfield plays Plan A , the forwards play Plan B and the keeper plays Plan C. All at the same time.

Not sure if serious.

Of all the things you could have levelled at Reina. The opposite is more true.

Thats because you're thinking kicking long. Im talking the short balls out of defence rodgers likes to play.

This the same Reina who is probably the most accomplished passer for a Gk ive seen at Liverpool.

The same one who played outfield in a friendly

Depends whether you include kicking long and distrubution from his hands. A far as short passing around the box goes, he struggled with that just as mignolet has. His last season it was frequently commented on in the stand that he struggled with that part of the game.

But why do you think he was loaned out then sold for?
