I'd agree with you there, he just doesn't look himself.

Nope. I thought it odd that he was playing as the central striker today, but I suppose they want him on the pitch for as long as possible if he's fit enough to play the game.

Liverpool prodigy Rhian Brewster has been told he will be promoted to the first-team squad next season, according to the Daily Telegraph.

The 17-year-old striker is currently on the sidelines through injury and will not be back in training until July.

Brewster recently underwent surgery on his right ankle that ended his season, but his rehabilitation is being overseen at Melwood by the first-team medical staff.

And such is the stature of Brewster at Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp has apparently told the player he will be integrated in the first-team squad next season.

Brewster starred for England’s Under-17s as they won the World Cup in India late last year and he has been impressing for the youth team with six goals and seven assists in 15 games this season.

The London-born striker turns 18 on April 1, and he will then be able to sign a new long-term deal with Liverpool, which is in the pipeline.

Brewster claimed he was racially abused in a recent UEFA Youth League game with Spartak Moscow. However, Spartak defender Leonid Mironov was exonerated and did not have a case to answer with UEFA citing a lack of evidence.
