Serie A is the highest scoring league in europe this season.

Can't have happened too often.

Their sides did well in Europe as well this season but the Sky hyperbole will still try and tell people and get the easily led believing that the premier league is the best league in the world.

Great game that was. Napoli made to pay for the countless missed chances in the end, but Lazio do deserve to get back into the Champions league. They've been very good this season. And, hopefully, that means Felipe Anderson doesn't fuck off to the mancs. Cracking little player he is.

Napoli threw that one away. They had all the momentum, got it back to 2-2, were a man up and won a penalty. Higuain blazed it over the bar when he was on a hat-trick, Ghoulam stupidly got himself sent off to even up the numbers, and then Napoli ran out of steam. But not before some more rank bad defending and decision making. To top in all off, Fiorentina leapfrogged them in the table so they only finished 5th.

Every time I've seen Napoli this season, they've been so error prone defensively. Also, they've never had consistency in the same game out of all the various attacking midfielders and wingers that have been deployed. Which ever ones are on their game, one or two of the others negates it by having a stinker.

It reminds me of us in Rafa's last season. We got to the semi finals of the Europa League after poor Champions League displays saw us get eliminated early. We did nothing in the domestic cups and despite the teams around us in the league doing their best to keep us knocking on the door of the Champions League places, we still managed to fuck it up.

“Of course I will shake hands,” the defender said. “I’ll hug him happily, too, there’s no problem at all. Those who know me even a bit know that’s how I truly feel. I have no problem with him and I think it’s the same for him. I have to think about him as a player, how he moves, his great skill but nothing more.”

Chiellini’s team-mate Patrice Evra refused to shake Suárez’s hand after he was racially abused by the then-Liverpool forward when playing for Manchester United.

Wait, isn't that what we said all along. that it was Evra and not Luis?

It wasn't a handball as the ball hit the player on his arm which was by his side. Definitely not deliberate. Good free kick by Diaz though - very composed under the circumstances. When Hamburg equalised, the commentator said they never say die. That would be why they are contesting a relegation/promotion play-off against a second division side and were minutes away from getting relegated then.

Commentary team is a bit (well a lot) shit, arent they?

Hamburg are the German equivalent of Aston Villa. The biggest club in the country's second city, successful (European champions no less) in the early 80s but mediocre ever since, and dogshit over the past few years. Die scheiße dass nicht bündig wird.
