When are we likely to get definitive stadium news?

I don't believe that the current stadium will change one little bit, the reason being finances. If we were to redevelop Anfield then the option to build a joint stadium with Everton would arise. The financial reasons which favour a joint stadium in a more prominent site than the current Anfield or Goodison site would take precedent over a redeveloped Anfield so as such give it 10, 20 or 50 years and Anfield will be exactly the same.

Don't think it will be to everyone's taste but that Main Stand I think looks brilliant, not sure if it's even in thinking but if they managed to expand the Kop and Centenary in the long term with similar designs I think it'd be an awesome looking stadium.

My preferred choice has and always will be a new stadium though but if we're set on staying at Anfield then more than happy to go down this design route.

From that, it seems as though the TV camera gantry will be at the front of the top tier. While it will certainly change the view of the pitch we see on TV, it also means that all the equipment no longer needs to be hoisted up from the pitch up to a gantry under the roof. It also looks as though it's possible to completely overhaul the existing section of the Main Stand at a later late if and when necessary, which would allow for new dressing rooms and media facilities. Until we see some more detailed schematics though, it's hard to tell how much future proofing has gone into the planning.

Yep there is nothing they can do about the TV view. It will be jarring at first as it's been the same since pretty much the advent of colour TV!
